Jeff's P.O.V.
"Iris, why is it that you forgave me?" I asked her. "Well... I don't know. I really don't. I forgave you but... I'm not sure why." Smile was sitting on her lap. Masky was in our kitchen, probably stuffing his face with food.
He came out and sat on the couch. "Haha... You two will be the WEIRDEST parents someday, I swear." I froze and Iris stared at Masky. "Uh... I have no idea how to respond to that... Wow..." she said, scratching the back of her neck. "Well, it's true! You're a killer, and Iris can't control her anger." he laughed. Iris looked like she was going to kill him, making me smile. "You know, you're proving him right." I chuckled. "Shut up." she snapped.
We all relaxed. "You two will have one of the strangest 'How I met your mother' stories, as well." he laughed. Iris stood up and walked over to Masky, putting her face inches away from his. "Shut up. Before I have to choke you." she hissed. "Hey, Jeff. Mind if I kiss your girl here? I think she wants it." Iris walked away in a huff. "I'm not entering that room again until he leaves!" she cried from the other room. "You heard the lady. Get your ass out!" I snapped. "Alright, alright. I'm out." He stood up and left. "He's gone, Iris. Come back in." She walked back in with a triumphant grin on her face. "Thanks. That guy is a real jack ass." she said, sitting on my lap.
Iris and I watched TV until she fell asleep on me. She began her usual snoring, which made me laugh. Then, she began to stroke me. Iris had a habit of stroking her sheets. The problem? She was stroking pretty low on me. VERY low. I yelped a bit. She slept comfortably, totally unaware of what she was doing. "Iris... Iris... You're gonna cause me to get a..." I got one. "Iris!" She opened her eyes and noticed, causing her to shoot up. "Gah! What the hell!" she screeched. "Well I'm sorry you stroked me!" I snapped.
She and I stared at each other for a while. "Okay... Just... Hold on." I went into the bathroom and fixed the situation. Iris began to snicker as I ran. "You're such an idiot." she laughed.
When I came back, Iris was laying on the couch. "Oh... Good. You handled it." She had a smile on her face.
I grabbed her hand. "We should go for a walk." I said. "Okay. Sounds good. I'll get Smile." Iris leashed up Smile and brought him out. "He likes walks."
So we walked together, Iris leaning on me. "Five months." I said. "What?" she asked. "Five months ago, I kidnapped you. One month ago, you kissed me." I said, smiling. "Oh..." she looked down. "I've been away from home for a long time..." she whispered. "Iris..." I couldn't let her leave, it would just hurt too much. "Do you want t to see your old friend, Zach?" I asked. She looked up at me. "Yeah... I used to have feelings for him... But I love you now... However, he was still a good friend of mine... But..." She used her finger to trace the scar on her cheek.
"If he can't look past that scar to be your friend, he's a fool. Your friendship is a gift, your love is a blessing. He should be grateful for your friendship. A real man would look past that scar, and if he can't do that, then he's not a real man..." She looked at me. "Okay, then. I want to go see my old friend."
