Jeff's P.O.V.

Iris and I had finally rejoined the group. Another year passed by pretty quick, and our lives just seemed to be getting better and better. Iris was cleaning the house up, making it look nicer. I was improving my boxing and helping Iris with our usual day to day chores.

Karen managed to survive the stabbing. Romance between her and the newly single Slender Man began to flourish and thrive. The Wiccan and faceless figure were now engaged, with wedding coming in early December.

One day, Iris seemed lost in thought. I took hold of her hand. "What's wrong, Iris?" I asked kissing her cheek. "Not now." she hissed. "Just trying to help..." I sighed. I began to walk away when Iris took hold of my shoulder. "Jeff... I'm sorry... I just..." She looked away. "Today is my nineteenth birthday... And I want to see my mom... It's stupid, I know... But I miss her so much..." I began to think of my mom... How I killed her... How she wanted to put me down... "... I'll take you to see your mom." Her eyes shot up. "Wow... Really?" I nodded. "Thank you, so much Jeff! I love you!" She tackled me to the floor in a hug. "Haha... Well, let's get ready."

Iris got dressed in a summer dress with high heels and a pearl necklace. I was just wearing my hoodie and black dress pants... Yes, I'm very lazy.

Iris brushed her hair and put it in a braid, then we were finally ready to go. Slendy sent us to Iris's old house. When we got there, she stared up at it. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" she whispered to herself. "Well... Go on in." I urged. "She probably is at work... I don't know... My dad is probably there with his slut..." she sighed. "Well... We might as well check." Iris looked in the window. "Is she there?" I asked. "Actually, yes. She is." She sounded incredibly surprised. "Might as well go talk." We were in her backyard, so we just used the back door. I sort of stayed out of sight by hiding under the kitchen table.

Iris's P.O.V.

I felt my heart race with every step. My mom was sitting on the couch, probably thinking about something. "... Hi Mom." I said softly. Her eyes looked up and saw me. Her jaw dropped and she sat there, frozen. Tears began to fall from her eyes as she stared at me. She shot up and wrapped her arms around me, crying.

"Iris, oh my god! Iris... Where have you been? Are you okay? How did you get that scar? Do we need to call the police? Did you have to kill someone to escape?" She kept listing questions. "Mom, I'm fine... I missed you, too. I can't tell you where I've been, but I can tell you I've been happy." She didn't leave me. "I missed you..."

I stepped away, finally. "So, Mom... Where's Dad?" I asked. "Oh, him... He's a hobo now... I found him with some slut... He was cheating on me for many years... So I divorced him and sued his ass for everything he had." I laughed a bit. Mom was clever.

"And where's AJ?" I asked. "... That's a long story." She sat me down. "AJ... Is getting some help. He's at the mental hospital a few towns down. He brought a gun to school a few days after you left... It hurt him so much... He shot three students and himself in the chest. They acquitted him on the reason of insanity." I felt guilt cloud me. "I can't believe it..." I whispered. "I know, honey... I know. I'm so sorry." A few years were shed, but I managed to hide my guilt and sadness. Over the years, I'd gotten pretty good at that.

"Mom... If you love me... Then you will accept who I love, right? No matter how different they are?" I asked. "Iris... If you're a lesbian, I will still love you." I felt my face turn red. "NO!!! I'm talking about appearance... Jeff, come here... It's all right." I looked straight under the table. "I'd like you to meet my boyfriend... Jeffrey."

My mom stared, stunned as Jeff came out from under the table. "Oh... This is him, I'm assuming?" I nodded. "Alright, then. My name is Nicolette, and as you probably know, I'm Iris's mother." Jeff nodded and shook her hand. "I'm Jeffrey Philips."

We all sat down and began to talk. My mom really liked Jeff. "Now, Iris. Listen and listen good. This one... As strange looking as he is, he's a keeper." I nodded, smiling. "Also, just thought I'd bring it up, eventually, I will be getting grandkids. I just think you should know that." I felt my face go red. "MOM!!!!!" I screamed. She laughed with Jeff. The two of them laughed so hard, they began to cry. "You two are horrible!" I cried. I began to snicker a bit, too.

After we talked a bit more, we left. I promised my mom we would visit again, as long as she told no one I was alive. She agreed and we parted. Jeff seemed lost in thought. "What is it?" I asked. "Well... Your mom seems nice... But... The comment about grandchildren... Maybe we should think about starting a family soon."
