What Did I Do

Wednesday: 9:00 am

Ariana's POV

I wake up in my bed next to Jordan. The doorbell rings, twice actually, and no one answers. I assume no one's home so I slowly get up and go downstairs to answer the door.

"Sean, what the heck do you want?"

"Ariana, I'm so sorry. I just need to come back. Please. I miss my family. Please, please, please."

"Sean we discussed this yesterday."

"Daddy? You're back?" I sigh and turn around to see Jordan slowly making her way downstairs.

"J, you were supposed to be sleep. What woke you up?"

"I don't know, I just did. Is daddy back now?"

"Still trying to figure that out. Can you please go play?"

"But I want daddy back..."

"I know, I do too, but..." Silence fills the room as I realize what I just said.

I look at Sean and tears fill my eyes as I run upstairs and to my room.

"What did I just do?" I ask myself, climbing into my bed and crying silently.

Sean's POV

"I know, I do too, but..." Ariana's face goes blank and a flash of hope sparks through Jordan's eyes.

She looks at me with regretful eyes before tears fill them and she runs upstairs.

"Daddy? What's wrong with mommy?"

"Nothing that concerns you, J." I pick her up and place her on the floor in her room.

"Stay here please, baby."

"Ok." She crawls over to her toys and starts throwing them on the floor.

"Ari, are you ok?"

"Sean, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. I know everyone makes mistakes and that was one of many you have made. I can't live without you. I love you. Jordan slept in your spot because she reminds me so much of you."

"Ariana, you did nothing to deserve this. I should be the sorry one."

"I know but I should have let you stay. It's your house too, and I just... I don't know."

"Ari, calm down. It's ok." She starts hyperventilating and I don't know what to do.

"Sean, I'm sorry. Please, I'm sorry." She continues breathing uncontrollably and I go sit by her.

Taylor comes in the doorway and runs to her sister.

"Ari, I know you can hear me. Calm down. You're ok. It's ok. Breath slowly. Slow down. Calm down."

"Sean, I'm sorry. Sean, Sean, Sean, I'm so sorry."

"Ariana! Calm down. You are having a panic attack. You need to slow down, now!" She finally comes back to her senses and her breathing slows.

"Sean, you are making her do this. She wants to forgive you. She can't do it. It's too much. I know what it's like, Sean. She wants you back. She needs you back. I need you to calm her down. You need to let her know you're staying. Now!" I nod and she leaves.

"Ariana, I'm staying. I'm right here. I will never leave you again. Calm down, baby. I'm right here." Her breathing goes back to normal and she lays down on her pillow.

"You're fine. It's ok."
