Taylor's POV

"So, Mackenzie, how do you feel?" The nurse says.

"Good! It's better than staring at darkness."

"Yes, I'm sure it is. So, I want you to stay here for a week so we can monitor you. That sound ok?"

"But I wanna go home. I wanna see my family!" She whines.

"I know. I'm sure they'll be here to visit."

"Fine! Taylor you have to come visit everyday."

"I've been here everyday since you first came, so, that's not gonna be a problem."

"Ok. That's all I need. Mackenzie, you need to rest so I'm gonna have to ask you 2 to leave."

"Ok. I guess I can go home. I've been here for 2 weeks." Me and Ariana say goodbye to Mackenzie and go home.

At Home: 11:15 am

"I'm home!" Ariana yells.

"Mommy! Did Taylor come yet?" Kaylee says from the living room.

"No, I'm sorry. She should be home in the next few days."

"Aah! I want her to come home!"

"I'm sorry sweetie. She has to stay with Kenzie."

"I guess it's ok." She sighs as we walk in.

"Taylor! Mommy, you lied to me!"

"No I didn't. I pranked you. There's a difference."

"Where's daddy?" Jordan says, climbing off the couch rubbing her eyes.

"That's how you greet me? Fine, I'll just go talk to everyone else."

"Ok, that's fine with me. Where's daddy?"

"I don't know. We literally just got here. Why dont you go look for him?"

"Its not my job to keep up with him. It's yours."

"It's really not but ok. Since, apparently, you're always right."

"I know I am. Daddy!"

"What?" He says, coming down the stairs.

"Oh look, there he is. If only we would've looked harder." Ariana says sarcastically.

"What is that?" I ask, looking around the living room to see 4 weird looking mini buildings and an aquarium.

"It's a bunny, and a hamster, and a guinea pig, and a turtle, and a 2 gold fish." Ariana says like I should know.

"I see you adopted an entire pet store while I was gone. How nice."

"Yeah, the kids got some new pets for being so goog while you were gone. Karmani and Oliver got all A's on their first 2 weekly grade reports. Alyson, Kaylee, and Jordan have been great at daycare."

"So, how does that explain their new pets."

"It was Karmani's idea. She got a bunny. Oliver got a guinea pig. The twins got gold fish. Jaidon got a hamster."

"Well, congrats children. Where is Jaidon, by the way?"

"He's napping in his room." Sean says.

"Oh. Well um, what do we do?"

"Let's go to the zoo. Celebrate our new animals. Children, what did you name them?"

"I name mine Fishy." Alyson says.

"I named mine Fishy #2." Kaylee says.

"Mine is Fluffy." Karmani says.

"I named mine Piggy." Oliver says proudly.

"What about Jaidon's?"

"I'm not really sure but when I asked him, he looked at an elephant on his wall so I just thought he wanted to name it Elly. It's a girl." Ariana says.

"Oh, of course."

Ariana's phone rings and she answers it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Alexa!"

"Ok, you're on speaker, now."

"I have amazing news!"

"What is it?"

"I got a boyfriend!"

"Lex, there's children in this room!"

"That's not the news. I've been meaning to tell you that for a while but I was busy and I forgot. Weve been dating for a about, 2 months."

"Is that the news?"

"No. I'm pregnant!"

"Wait, what?"

"I'm preggers. There's a child growing inside of me! Isn't that amazing?"

"Yeah, it's awesome! Congratulations."

"Thanks. I have to go now."

"Ok... Bye."

"Bye!" She hangs up and we go get ready to go to the zoo.
