Ashton turned to his younger sister, Lauren, as they exited the theater. "Who's the boy?" he asked. "You two seemed pretty friendly. Too friendly." he frowned. Lauren just laughed.

"He's friend from school," she explained. "His name's Owen, and he's our age." she pointed to herself and Mali. "He's just really tall."

"But you're just friends . . . right?" he asked. Lauren rolled her eyes.

"You ask as if we're dating." she said. Lauren saw Ashton's eyes widened, and she quickly backtracked. "We're not! Owen is just a friend." Lauren clarified.

"Just a friend?"

"Just a friend." Ashton pulled his sister in for a hug.

"Good." He sighed in relief.

"Just wait till I get a real boyfriend." She said, smugly. Ashton pulled away from his her shaking his head. Mali, who was by Calum's side, burst into laughter. The guys couldn't contain their laughter as well.

"No. No, no, no. No boyfriends. Promise me you won't grow up." he said.

"I don't think anyone can promise that." Lauren said.

"Please!" Ashton pleaded, looking to her with big eyes. Lauren smiled at her brother.

"Fine." she said.

"Pinky promise?"

"Pink promise." She said as the two locked fingers.

"You two are so cute it's sickening." Michael said, closing his eyes.

"We're not CUTE!" the two yelled in unison.

"Just merely adorable." Ashton said, giving his best friend a grin.

"And you're just jealous Mike." Lauren added.

"Whatever." Michael replied.

"So who was the girl again?" Calum asked Mali as they headed for the main entrance of the mall.

"Owen's sister." she replied. "I've never met her, but Lauren has. She's really nice." Mali said. The boys stopped, making the girls stop to. Amelia snickered. "What's so funny Amelia?" Mali asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Nothing." she replied, sweetly.

"No, seriously. If it's nothing then you shouldn't mind sharing with us." Lauren said, looking at her.

"She's such a teacher's pet." Amelia said. "I don't know why you want to hang out with her. She's weird, and spends all her time with her nose buried in some book. She doesn't talk, she just sits there like some psychopath." she stated.

"Corrine's nice." Lauren said, defending her.

"Who names their kid Corrine? It's such a stupid name." Amelia stated. "Like, hello, we live in the twenty-first century. There are better names out there."

"Well it's much better than the one that the kids at school call you." Mali responded. Everyone glanced at her. Amelia smiled, and walked over to Mali.

"And what, exactly, is it that they're calling me sweetheart?" she asked. Mali stood on her tip toes to match the girls height.

"It starts with S and ends with T." Mali said. "And sweetheart, it ain't student." Amelia gasped, and Luke had to hold her back from slapping Mali.
