Corrine was placing her books in her locker when Lauren cam up beside her and whacked her on the arm with her Science textbook. Corrine jumped, reaching up to rub her arm. "OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"That was for not telling me about Owen!" she replied. "You should have warned me that he was going to ask me out!"

"Where's the fun in that?" Corrine asked, playfully. She closed her locker and locked it.

"CORY! It's not funny! I was freaking out back there." Lauren whined. Corrine laughed.

"Lauren, relax." Corrine said. "Besides, I think Owen was freaking out more than you were. The poor boy was stuttering every five seconds."

"I thought it was cute." she heard Lauren mumbled, before smiling softly to herself. Corrine smiled too.

"He really likes you." Corrine told her.

"What? He does?"

"Yes." Lauren blushed.

"I really like him too." she replied. "I'm just worried about Ashton. The last boy I brought home refuses to even speak to me now. I don't want Ashton to hurt him." Lauren explained, voicing her concern to Corrine. Corrine frowned.

"I doubt it." she said. "As long as Ashton knows you're happy, he should be happy too."

"I hope you're right about that Corrine. I don't want Owen to get hurt." Corrine wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"Me either. Come on, why don't we go find Mali and Owen and see what they're up to."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Lauren smiled.

Luke let out a deep laugh at Michael's silliness as the four of them stood around Luke's car. "You idiot!" Calum laughed, shoving Michael a bit. "You didn't?"

"Yes, I did!" Michael replied, grinning like an idiot."

"Oh my god, Michael, I can't believe you-" Luke began, but Ashton suddenly cut him off.

"What the fuck does he think he's doing?" Ashton suddenly growled, snapping the three of the out of their trance.

"Ash?" Luke said. Ashton had a dark expression on his face, as he stared off in the distance. Calum, Luke and Michael followed his gaze, and spotted why Ashton was so pissed off all of a sudden.

Off in the distance was Corrine, Mali, Lauren and Owen. But it was what Owen was doing that made him angry. He had one arm wrapped around Lauren's shoulder, and her arm was wrapped around his waist. They were both laughing. "LAUREN!" Ashton barked. The laughter in the distance died off, as Lauren turned her head. Her smile faded. Owen slowly removed his arm from around her, and let his arm hang down, but it seemed as if Lauren was going to extra difficult with Ashton today, and instead of moving away from Owen completely, she linked her fingers with his, gripping his hand tightly. Ashton crossed his arms over his chest.

"He's a dead man."

Lauren said, looking back to Owen. "We should get going." she told them. "Ashton's pissed with me."

"Are you sure you want to go with him?" Owen asked, looking at her nervously.

"Yeah, if I don't go, he'll be even angrier, and that won't be good." Lauren sighed. She pulled him in for a quick hug, and Owen saw Ashton shoot daggers at him with his eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow. If I survive the night, that is."
