Asher got an inch away from my face with the knife.
Then made one swift movement up to the ropes that were holding my hands captive and cut them.
He accidentally cut my left wrist.
Blood came out of it…
It was dark red and looked delicious?
Why did my blood look so good?
The burning sensation worsened as the smell of the red liquid filled my lungs.
“Quick, get towels.” Asher said to Ella.
He made one swift movement and grabbed my head and turned it the other way.
I hissed at him.
Ella came from the bathroom and had a small towel.
She tied it to my wrist.
She left it there for a few seconds and then took it off.
Asher let go of my head.
I looked at my wrist and the blood was gone. The wound was gone too.
You couldn’t tell that I had been cut at all.
Ella quickly got the towel away from where I was at and put it in a class bowl and burned it.
“It was just a little blood. It would come right out in the wash…” I said.
“The smell wouldn’t though.” She said.
Oh great. Apparently, I smell now.
“Did you get blood on anything else?” She asked.
I looked around I didn’t see any more blood.
“You need some new clothes.” She stated and then went out of the room.
“Whatever you do, do not drink your own blood.” He said.
“Why?” I asked.
“Because it’s poisonous to your body.” He said.
“Why is it poisonous?? I’ve tasted my own blood before and I didn’t die…” I said
“Because you system has already digested that blood. It would be like eating a part of yourself and it would be starving yourself. You can feed off of others just not yourself.” He said.
“What do you mean feed?” I asked.
“You need blood to live now. Not food.” He said.
I got up off of the bed.
“Well, obviously you’re crazy.” I said and in a blink of an eye he was towering over me.
“I warned you once. Do. Not. Talk. To. Your. Elders. That. Way.” He said.
He scared me a little but it didn’t really stop me from being a pain in the ass.
“You don‘t scare me.” I snapped at him.
He said nothing.
He grabbed my shoulders and slammed me against the wall as hard as he could.
My body hit the wall and then slid down to the floor. He crouched down and stared at my face.
“I understand that you are newborn and you probably don’t understand any of this and you’re probably pissed.” he said and sighed.
“But if you value your life at all, you will do as you are told and you will not disrespect your Elders. I went easy on you, because you are a newborn and you don’t know any better. I assume that you understand now what will happen next time you disrespect me or any other Elder?” He asked.
