CHAPTER 10: PSEUDO-CONTRACT[ASPER]
Friday. A week had passed since pumasok ako sa eskwelahan. I learned a lot of strange things here. Within a week, I've read informations as much as I could.
During breakfast naman, I wake up early and have my breakfast at 5 am para magkaroon ako ng dalawang oras sa library every morning. I need to fill my gaps with knowledge, that's the least I can do here.
The more I learn about this place and their world, the more I find it confusing. There are things that just doesn't make any sense. Tulad nalang ng cafeteria nila, no matter what time I go there laging may pagkaing available even though I don't see any staffs.
Later did I find out na 24 hours pala nag-ooperate ang mga facilities nila. There are also night classes for those ability users who are most suited at night. I also figured na adjusted ang mga subjects based sa ability and progress ng bawat isang estudyante.
This is really an ideal school for them. Abilities may vary from person to person and the only way to deal with it is to adjust their lessons and regimen according to the student's talent. Maganda na natututukan nila ang progress.
Unfortunately for me, it's no use. Kadalasan sa subjects ko ay academically inclined, puro theories and knowledge base which resulted to me having a lot of free time. Once in a while, pumupunta ako sa office to inquire about my probation but likewise, hindi pa nakakabalik ang headmaster.
The 3 Races. It talks about theories regarding the origin of the 3 races.
Sa mundo nila they believe in Gods and Goddesses, particularly, sa isang Goddess na ayon sa libro ay siyang nagbigay ng source sa mga tao. She love the humankind so much that she left a part of her to each and every person to protect them. Basically, the theory believed that the source is a fragment of the Goddess.
I know for a fact, na isa lang iyong myth. It should never be taken so seriously. Hindi naman talaga ako naniniwala sa mga myths but so far, sa lahat ng nasasaksihan ko rito, I think it's time to reconsider my beliefs.
It was still 7:30 am and every friday is my free day. I woke up early kanina out of habit.
She's waking Kayle up.
Every friday meet up ng mga bearers, guardians and protectors. Today is bonding time.Tsaka may event na gaganapin ngayon kaya ako excited." Right. May sinabi sila about friday. Kaya vacant day ko ito dahil pagkakataon na ito ng ilan para makasama yung mga guardians and protectors nila.
"Event?"
"Yes. The taming game." sagot niya. Anong klaseng event ito?
"Just so you know, wala ka namang kailangan gawin.
