~De's P.o.V~

I pried Kid Flash away from Dick while Tim blocked Dick from going at Wally again.

"Get out of my way, Tim," Nightwing growled, his eyes narrowed in hostility at Kid Flash. Robin held his ground, meeting Dick's gaze evenly.

"No. I'm sorry, Nightwing, but you can't hurt Wally just because of this." Tim explained calmly as he crossed his arms over his chest and returned Dick's frustrated glare.

"HE GOT MY LITTLE SISTER PREGNANT. I HAVE *_EVERY_* RIGHT TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF KF." Nightwing scoffed angrily, glaring fiercely at Wally as I dusted off KF's costume.

"Hey, I can't help the fact that you're _way_ too overprotective  of Aria," Wally defended himself, his emerald eyes steeled over, "Besides, she's not a kid anymore! She doesn't need you to _baby_ her!" He snapped agitatedly as I looked at Nightwing.

Dick took a threatening step forward only to be intercepted by both me and Tim. Nightwing gave a defeated sigh.

"She may not _need_ me to baby her...but I'll always protect her..." he murmured softly before walking out of the room quietly. I raised an eyebrow and exchanged a confused look with Robin then followed after my mentor.

"Night! Are you ok?" I called out to Dick as he paused around the corner to lean against the wall quietly with his eyes closed while he let out a stressed sigh.

"Dick?" I inquired as he slid to the floor, running a gloved hand through his raven colored bangs, "What's wrong?" I asked him gently, kneeling down in front of him and placing a shy hand gently on his left knee cap.

He didn't look up as he whispered, "I just want to protect Aria and Bella...I've lost my parents...and I don't know what I'd do if something took my little sisters from me," He looks up at me slightly, "Can you understand that?" He asks sincerely. I nod, touched by his thoughtfullness.

He sighed and looked away quietly," I guess I am a bit over protective, heh," he chuckles softly,rubbing the back of his neck anxiously. I smile at him in amusement as we get to our feet.

"But at least you care about Aria," I point out sympathetically. He looks at me with a smirk.

"She's not the only person I care about..-" he trails off as he leans forward slowly, his gaze never leaving mine. My eyes widened as my face burned bright pink when our lips connected. I relaxed against him, my heart fluttering with butterflies as I kissed the crush of my dreams.

"Ah, come on guys! In the hallway?! Really?! Can't you get a room? I mean goddddd,"

Dick and I look up to see Jason Todd turning away and walking off in the opposite direction while grumbling about public places and stuff under his breath. Nightwing and I laughed in amusement.
