I stood close to Nightwing as the 'Acacia' chick explained herself to him and the Team. While Acacia was talking, she noticed me holding Dick's hand but she didn't react. Nightwing wasn't paying much attention to me, he seemed thoroughly confused as to how this Acacia girl was even standing physically in front of us. Cringing slightly, I decided to break off from the group. I needed to get away from that Acacia girl...

I quietly walked to back to the cave, feeling horrible and unwanted. As I entered HQ, I spotted Miss Martian nearby laughing with Beast Boy. I didn't bother to say hello even when M'Gann called out a greeting to me. Instead I headed straight to my room.

As I entered the room, I felt my heart shudder. Nightwing and that Acacia chick had a history...They liked each other in the past. But now Dick had me...I just didn't want Acacia to steal him away from me....Did that make me sound selfish...?

I walked over to my nightstand and dug out some cigarettes. I'd never smoked a day in my life. These were my father's old pack before he died...I kept them to remember him by along with some other things... Sighing, I stuffed the pack into my hoodie pocket and ran out of my bedroom. My head spun as I walked out of the Cave to stand a little ways away from the entrance.

As I shakily whispered a flame spell to light the cigarette, a figure stepped out of the shadows.

"That's not going to help." I look up as I lift the cigarette to my mouth. Jason approached me, his gaze serious.

"Smoking isn't going to help you," he repeated softly, "I don't know what is making you think that smoking will help, but you've got the wrong idea,"

I shrugged, inhaling and to my embarrassment, choking on the cigarette smoke in front of him. He shook his head with a soft sigh.

"He loves you, you know..." he says softly as he leans against the wall I stand by. I look sharply at him.

"What-"

"Dick. He maybe a dumbass sometimes, but he's not a cheater. He loves you."

I looked at him doubtfully.

"You think so?..." I said softly, looking up at the moon quietly. He nodded, taking my cigarette and putting it out before he threw it away.

"I know so, Wish. Now come on, Dick'll have a stroke if he doesn't know where you are." Jay chuckled softly. I laughed a bit and then followed him back to where the team was. Nightwing smiled broadly as I came up with Jason.

"There you are. Where did you go? I was going to tell Acacia about you but when I turned to you, you weren't there," Nightwing said, pulling me off to the side as Erika interrogated Acacia. 

"I didn't go far, Nightwing," I told him. He smirked and then kissed me softly.

"Come on," he said soflty, leading me over to Acacia , Zack and the others. I stayed close to Dick, feeling relieved that I was his and he was mine.
