I made sure to stop by
Simply to say hi
And ask about your day
But you turned away
When I called your name
And all I can ask is why?
Was it just my eyes
Or am I really so bad
That you had to leave me too?
Another person who I thought would do
So many things for me, as I would for you
Obviously I was not right
And you're willing to leave my sight
And leave me alone
