She met him
Nearing two years ago
It wasn't exactly magical
Not love at first sight
But she noticed she adored his laugh
And the twinkle in his blue-green eyes
The way he ended every other sentence with a sigh
So she thought to give it a try
Thus their story began
And though she never expected to
She grew to love this boy
Fast forward a year
And they are happily in love
He is kind to her
Supports her in everything she does
And, she is captured by his personality
Like no one she had ever met before
He was honestly so beautiful
Like only he could be
So she dreamt up a life with him
Could picture it clearly
Now to the present
Where the facts and sum
Of their relationship
Has turned rather glum
Because he is no longer the man
She sees in her dreams
And she finds it more and more difficult
To keep him happy, it seems
That with no other thoughts
To occupy her mind
She finds it very difficult
To continue to try
She loved this boy
And he loved her
Until one day she noticed
That she wasn't so sure
