you told me you like spicy food because it burns your tongue

i can see how the world would look so malicious with those red lenses covering your eyes and the abundance of hate clouding your vision and i know red is your favorite color but should the whole universe be so monotone and do you always want to feel so spiteful?

i know you like holding fire because it gives you power and i know how the burn reminds you of what you think you have but is it worth it when it taints your world and leaves you swimming alone in that sea of hot lava?
