the boy

He met her

Nearing two years ago

It wasn't exactly magical

Not love at first sight

But he found that he loved her laugh

And her beautiful brown eyes

The way her long brown hair lay gently down her spine

So he thought to give it a try

Thus their story began

And though he didn't expect to

He grew to love this girl

Fast forward a year

And they are happily in love

She knows everything about him

That there is to know of

And, he is comfortable with her

Which is something that he had never known

He never did trust easily

When it came to exposing his past

But sharing it with her was something that came fast

He saw a spark that he thought would last

Now to the present

Where the facts are less lovely

And the reality of their relationship

Has turned rather ugly

Because she has left him

For what, he does not know

But he saw how easy it was

For her to let him go

Now with no other thoughts

To occupy his mind

He finds it so very difficult

To try not to cry

He loved this girl

And she loved him

Until one day her love

Began to grow dim
