She was lovely
Like sunshine and the bluest skies
Like morning tea when you first rise
She was a darling in the truest sense of the wordNext she was stately
With an elegance that defined her life
And made her an image wife
She became the personification of graceAnd now she is wise
A thousand armed men could not take from her the lessons she has learned
Or the happiness she has earned
Yes, now she is really alive-side note: this poem was added to a collection by PoetsPub They take anybody's poems if you want to give them and if you submit them correctly. They are awesome and everyone should check them out if you like poetry or short stories-
