"So what happened with Jackson?" I ask, opening my locker and putting my books away.
"Well um, Scott got him to take Allison to the formal." Stiles explains, barely, as he leans against the wall.
"And how did he do that?" I press, raising an eyebrow at the two of them.
"You don't want to know." Stiles laughs as Scott begins looking around avoiding my gaze, spotting Jackson talking to Allison, practically covered in his own sweat.
"Hey, what time should I pick you up for the dance tomorrow?" Jackson questions, quickly looking at the three of us then back at her, noticeable swallowing.
"Are you okay?" Allison asks, concerned.
"Yeah, I-I'm great." He rushes out, "I'm just excited to go to the formal. With you. As friends. Just friends. Just-just friends." He stutters. The two engage in conversation as they begin walking down the hall.
"Hey, don't worry. We'll still be there." Stiles tries to comfort Scott.
"I'm still going." Scott states.
"Is that such a good idea?"
"Do you even have a date?" Stiles and I ask in unison.
"Don't know. Not yet." Scott shakes his head.
"Do you have a suit?" I press.
"Not yet."
"Do you have a ticket to the formal? A ride there?" Stiles continues.
"No. And no." Scott sighs, hitting his head against the wall.
"So you're gonna ride your bike to a dance that you're not even allowed to go to without a date, a suit, or a way in with werewolves and werewolf hunters all out to kick your little werewolf ass?" Stiles questions.
"Yeah." Scott laughs. "You two gonna help me?"
"Hell, yeah." I laugh, nudging my shoulder with his as we walk down the hall, stupid grins covering our faces.

Once again, Lydia, Allison, and I are greeted with the overwhelming aroma of multiple fragrances the minute with step into Macy's.
"I will never get used to that smell." I cough as the three of us walk towards the escalator.
"Allison is something wrong, you haven't said that much since your house?" Lydia asks as soon as Allison's hand moves towards her mouth. A bad habit the two of us picked up very quickly, indicating she's either worried or stressed about something.
"Nothing's wrong, I just I have a lot on my mind." She brushes off when we step on the escalator heading towards the woman's section of the store.
"You could smile at least." I tease.
"Ever heard of the saying, "Never frown. Someone could be falling in love with your smile"?" Lydia questions, causing Allison and I to smirk. "Smile, Allison. I'm buying you a dress."
"Have to admit as far as apologies go, that's more than I expected." Allison stats, causing me to laugh. Clearly you don't know Lydia.
