I knocked on the door to the office of Pete's bar.
"Come in." I heard his voice from the inside of his office.
"Hey, Pete. I'm here early, I hope you don't mind me clocking in." I grinned, thinking back to the last night I worked here.
"Oh My God, Mia!" Pete jumped to his feet and ran over to me, and wrapped me in a big bear hug. "How have you been? I heard you're some big rock star, now!" He chuckled
"Yeah... That's me." I blushed
"Damn, So I guess you won't be back here, anytime soon to work, huh?" He seemed sad.
"I'm afraid not." I sighed "But I'll stop by whenever I'm in town, for a drink of course." I grinned.
"Come have one with me! I brought Steven, and the rest of the band, as well as my other boss Mary, and her husband Andrew. They're a fun crowd. You should come say hi." I smiled, and grabbed his arm, pulling him along with me.
"Okay," He chuckled "But only one drink, then I'm back in the office."
When we finally got down the long hallway, and into the bar/dinning room area, I sat next to Steven at the bar, as Pete took a seat on the other side of me.
The bartender here seemed young, and new at the job.
"What would you like Mrs-" She froze realizing who she was talking to. "Oh my... Mia Lynn Parker! Steven Tyler! Wow, what an honor! What can I get for you guys?" She beamed
"I uh... no offense to you honey, But I was actually hoping I could get back there one last time and mix for myself and my friends?" I turned to Pete who nodded at me with enthusiasm.
"Oh. Okay." She seemed sad, but moved from her place behind the bar, as I hopped off my stool and around behind the long counter.
"Well... Mr. Tyler." I teased. "What would you like?"
"What was that thing you made me, last time we were here?" He asked
"Oh no.... Dirty Bong Waters. You got really drunk off of that last time, babe. I'm not so sure if that's a good idea.." I chucked.
"Fine, then I'll have one, and nothing else." He grinned.
I rolled my eyes, and began to make his drink, with skill that actually impressed me. It's been so long since I last professionally mixed, that I thought I almost forgot how to do it.
The new girl, behind the counter, just stared in amazement. I knew she was trying to memorize everything I put into the drink, so I told her out loud, as I finished mixing Steven's drink.
"This was the special house drink, back when I worked here like, 2 or 3 years ago," I smiled at her. "If I teach you how to make it, you have to keep it the house special. Alright?" I said. She nodded and stared, wide-eyed, as I taught her to mix the drink. "And... here you go." I said, placing it infront of her.
"Wow! Thanks!" She grinned "Mia Lynn, just made me a drink." She gasped, under her breath. I just chuckled and rolled my eyes, and moved on to making myself a Malibu Bay Breeze.
When I finished making everyone's drinks, I came back around from behind the bar, and sat down next to Steven and Pete.
"So, Mia. How have things been. I see you and Steven are still together? How is that?" He smiled.
I grinned and stuck out my hand, showing him the ring, while I ever so innocently sipped my cocktail.
"Oh That's great! Congratulations! When's the big day?" He smiled.
"Well... I know it'll be in a few months, but we're not sure when yet. We know it's gonna be in Maui. Steven and I just bought a house there, right on the beach. So it'll be a beach wedding." I giggled. I was getting really excited.
"That's amazing. I'm really so happy for you." He laughed and hugged me, then sighed. "You know, Mia. Business hasn't been that good. I mean, the new girl is cute and all, but she can hardly mix a drink." he muttered under his breath. "If you ever, for some reason, need a job, and you're in town for a while, please come back. There's always something for you here, as long as I'm around." He smiled.
"Thanks, Pete." I grinned
When he finished his scotch, he hugged me goodbye, "Think about it." He whispered into my ear, and then disappeared back into his office.

A few drinks later, and Steven and I needed to call Eddie to come pick us up and bring us home.
I ended up falling asleep on Steven in the limo. The last thing I remember, is Steven drunkenly confessing his undying love for me, which for some reason, I thought was the funniest thing in the world.
