I woke up the next morning, feeling the heat of Steven's body lying next to mine.
I rolled over, and opened my eyes, so find his face just inches from mine.
I giggled at how cute he was, still asleep. I watched the rise and fall of his chest as he took quiet deep breathes, dreaming in some far away part of his conscious.
I kissed his nose lightly, so I wouldn't wake him up, and then I slid out of bed.
I put a robe on around myself and tip-toed down into the kitchen. I almost expected to see Lauren or Joe rumaging for food in the kitchen, but I forgot that they left with Beth and spent the night in a hotel somewhere, so Steven and I could spend our wedding night alone, together.
I made myself a cup of tea and sat down at the table with it. By the time I finished it, Steven still wasn't awake, so I decided to wake him up with a little breakfast in bed, just like he did the day of my Idol audition.
I made fresh whipped cream, and fixed a plate of strawberries. I pourred two glasses of crisp champagne, and carried a little tray into the bedroom.
I set the tray down on the bed, and then climbed ontop of Steven, and laid my head on his chest.
He woke up and moaned, stretching his arms out, and then winding them around my body, cuddling me close.
"Good morning, Mr. Tyler." I grinned, and kissed him. "I brought you breakfast in bed."
"Mmmm, Mrs. Tyler you sure know how to take care of a man." He grinned and sat up. I continued to straddle him, as I reached for a strawberry, dipped it in a little whipped cream, and fed it to Steven.
"Delicious." He grinned. "Just like you." He smiled and kissed me.
"You taste like strawberries." I giggled, and took a sip of the bubbly. He grinned and kissed me again.
"And you taste like champagne." He smiled.
I sighed and nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck. He stroked my hair, and then rubbed my back a little.
"So what's on the agenda for today, Mrs. Tyler." He asked
"I will never get tired of hearing you call me that." I grinned. "I don't know we've got a few days off until my next concert, so we can have a short honeymoon, and then come back to it after my concert, on Friday?" I sighed
"Wait... what day is it?" He asked.
"It's Monday, dear." I chuckled, and kissed his nose.
"Well... since we're on our honeymoon." He grinned wickedly "Theres a few things we could do to kick off our honeymoon." He pressed his forehead against mine, teasing me.
"Oh, really? Like what, Mr. Tyler?" I asked, playing stupid.
"This." He said, as he cupped my face and kissed me. He flipped me over and back onto the bed.
We definitely began our honeymoon in the perfect way.
