Steven and I were sitting on the couch, watching my favorite movie, when my phone began to ring.

I looked at the caller I.D, and it was my manager Phil.

When I first met Phil, I didn't like him. His aura wasn't right for me. I thought he was a huge sleeze, but eventually I warmed up to him, and how we're good buddies.

"Hey, Phil." I answered the phone, as Steven looked at me, and then back to the tv screen.

"Hey, Mia, Baby. Great news!" He almost yelled.

"Oh no." I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"Don't worry it's not that bad. Well... you'll have to postpone your trip to Maui for a day or two." He paused, letting me catch what he's trying to say.

"But Phil... We leave tomorrow... We're moving into a house down there..." I paused. Steven paused the movie and we stared at each other while I continued the conversation with Phil.

"I know, I know, but you'll love this! Okay, so You'll still leave tomorrow, but you'll take a stop in L.A and-" I cut him off

"We're already going to L.A in May, after Steven and I get married. I have a show there, and I want to visit the contestants on Idol, and see how they are, this year." I sighed

"Mia, I know.. Look... I just got you an interview with Ellen Degeneres. I know how much you love her, and she really wants to meet you and talk to you all about the tour and your upcoming album, and your relationship with Steven, and all that jazz." He huffed

I just sat there in shock, with my mouth gaping wide open

"What?" Steven mouthed to me.

I finally snapped back into my senses and answered Phil.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Phil that's awesome Thank you! I love her oh my god!" I grinned "This is so cool! Thank you! I'll definitely do it!"

"Okay, great. I'll call her and tell her what's going on." He hung up.

Steven just kept staring at me.

"What? What is it?" Steven asked, almost worried.

"I'M GONNA MEET ELLEN DEGENERES! OH MY GOD!" I screamed, and Steven just laughed. I finally calmed down, and told Steven the game plan. "Okay, so we'll still leave tomorrow, but we won't go to Maui.. We'll fly into L.A and I'll do my interview with Ellen, and then I guess we'll fly to Maui on either Friday, or Saturday. I mean, we'll obviously still move there, but it'll only be delayed by a few days."

"Sounds perfect." He smiled.

Because we had a house here in L.A I could easily get ready in the comfort of my own home, and then just drive to Ellen's studio without having to worry about hair and make-up or anything.

I curled my hair, in it's usual style, with the wand, and did my make-up light and natural.

I dressed myself in a pair of white skinny jeans, and wore a button up denim shirt with the sleeves cut off, and a tie at the bottom. I slipped on a pair of small, brown leather Michael Kors heels with a golden buckle at the ankle, and wore a brown leather belt with a gold buckle, to match my shoes.

When Steven finished getting ready, he walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I looked him up and down, and grinned. He was wearing almost the exact same thing as I; a pair of white skinny jeans, with a brown belt, and a blue sheer button up, half unbuttoned as usual, and a brown leather jacket to match his belt.
