I looked up from my phone to find Ryan, Jordan, and RJ all huddled around the large leather airline seat, my butt was parked in.
"What?" I huffed, taking out my earbuds, having blasting music float out of the tiny speakers, filling the cabin.
"We were wondering what the hell you were typing..." Ryan answered, trying to grab my phone from me.
"Yeah, you've been on that thing since the flight to Disney, yesterday!" RJ added.
I looked back down at my phone, scanning over the progress I've made.
"It's a song..." I muttered.
"Well..." Jordan paused taking a bite out of an apple.. Jesus, when is that boy not eating? "Let's hear it then."
"It's not finished..." I protested, shoving my phone into the pocket of my jeans.
Of course, Steven had to be the one to reach around and snag the device out of my butt-pocket, unlocking it and reading the lyrics aloud.
"Rhiannon rings like a bell in the night, and wouldn't you love to love her? Takes to the sky like a bird in flight, and who will be her lover?" His smile faded as he began intensely concentrating on the words before him. "All your life you've never seen a woman taken by the wind."
"Shit, Mia..." Ryan muttered. "Those are deep."
"I try..." I laughed, rolling my eyes as sarcasm radiated off of me.
I snatched my phone back from Steven, and put my head phones back in. "They're not finished anyway..."
"We'll finish them when we get to Vegas." RJ smiled, being very optimistic.
"No... You can't just finish them. The lyrics need to come to you." I sighed, closing my eyes lightly.
"Which is the polite way of saying 'I'm too lazy'..." Ryan snickered, elbowing Jordan.
"Okay, Mr. I'm-better-than-all-of-you, why don't you write a song then?" I rolled my eyes. "It's really not that easy, Ry... I mean, come on. Have a little more faith in my work ethic, people!"
With that, the hushed silent cabin, fell silent.
Everyone, with the exception of Ryan and Steven, fell asleep.
Though I was awake, I couldn't help but to pretend I was asleep, so I could listen into Steven and Ryan's conversation.
I wish I could talk about how Steven told Ryan about his undying love for me, or how Ryan looked up to me... But alas, they were just being boys...
Talking about music, and parties, and their relationships. Nothing too interesting.
Eventually, I drifted to sleep.

"Guys! We're in Vegas!"
My eyes fluttered open to see Carla jumping up and down in her airline seat, looking out the window of the plane.
"Let's get this party started..." Gavin smirked, leaning back in his seat.
"Uhm, there won't be much partying going on for you guys since you're all under 21." I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
If anyone in the world could instantly bring my good mood to a halt, it was Gavin.
He's a smug little bastard that needs to be brought back down to earth.
"Actually, I just turned 21 three days before we left for the tour, so..."
He grinned maliciously.
