"Is this a baby bump, we see?" A news reporter was pointing at a picture of Steven and I out to lunch, yesterday.

We were sitting on the couch, watching the news. I was eating an apple and peanut butter, while Steven was nibbling on some cookies.

"Ugh... I look so fat. Like it's that awkward first trimester stage when you can't tell if someone's pregnant, or just put on a lot of weight." I groaned, staring at the tv.

"Oh, shut up, babe. You're beautiful." He grinned and stole a bite of my apple.

"Hey... don't you dare ever take food from a pregnant woman." I said, taking a cookie from him. "Mmmm... oh my god. This is the best cookie I've ever had." I said, taking a second bite.

"No... Not as good as yours." He chuckled.

"You're right." I said as I got up and strolled into the kitchen. I was getting out a large mixing bowl, and some ingredients, when I heard Steven call me from the other room.

"What the hell was that?" Steven sounded worried.

"Just a metal bowl, babe. Don't worry!" I called back to him.

I began mixing flower, butter, baking powder, and soda, eggs, and sugar. I poured an entire bag of chocolate chips into the mixture, and made my special homemade chocolate chip cookie dough.

I scooped half of the dough out of the bowl, and made little balls on a baking sheet, and popped them into the oven.

I grabbed two spoons, and the bowl and headed back into the living room, where the news reporter was still talking about my baby bump, and when the baby is due.

"Here, you go, my love." I said, as I handed Steven a spoon.

"Mmmm. Your cookies are always the best." He winked and put a ball of cookie dough in his mouth.

"Don't say that... being pregnant makes me really hungry, and really horny, and it's just not fair that I can't do anything about it.." I sighed, and took another scoop of the cookie dough, and popped it into my mouth.

"Who said there's nothing you can do about it?" Steven grinned and began to kiss my neck.

"Steven... Junior here won't be able to take your big ten inch, so don't even think about it." I huffed.

"Fine." He chuckled, "Then I'll just resort to stealing a kiss from my gorgeous wife." He said, and pulled my face to his, kissing me.

When we pulled back, I picked up the empty bowl, and walked back into the kitchen.

I took the warm cookies out of the oven, and then took the vanilla ice cream out of the freezer. I took who cookies, and smushed a scoop of vanilla ice cream between them. I made a second one for Steven, and brought a plate into the living room and plopped back down on the couch, handing him the plate.

"Come on... This can't be good for the baby." He chuckled and took a bite.

"What... I'm not the one that wants this anyway... The baby's making me do it." I giggled

"Oh sure... let's blame it all on Steven Junior." He laughed, and nudged me a little.

I laid down on the couch, stretching my legs across Steven's lap, and resting my head on a plush pillow. Steven laid down  on top of me, resting his head on my tummy.

"Hi, little guy.." He whispered. I smiled and blushed. He was talking to his baby, which was the cutest thing I think I've ever seen him do.

"It's daddy." He whispered again. "I love you, and I can't wait to see you." He smiled and kissed my tummy. He knew me so well. He began to softly sing Crazy which calmed me down enough to put me to sleep.

I woke up hours later, with Steven's arms wrapped around my waist, and his head still resting on my tummy. I bent down and kissed the top of his head, and then fell back asleep.
