When You're Famous, It's All Simple...

I heard a distant pinging noise, making me rustle a bit.

Oh god no, please don't let it be the alarm clock…

I blindly reached over and tapped on something that seemed like a snooze button, though it seemed too soft to actually be a snooze button.

I groaned, and put a pillow over my head top block out the obnoxious ringing.

Abruptly, it stopped and an even softer, more distant, voice spoke.

After a few incoherent mumbles, a yelp sent me shooting up out of bed, jolting me awake.

 "No fuckin' way!"

I shot up, looking around the room, only for my viciously annoyed and exhausted gaze to set upon Steven, who was grinning ear to ear, on his cell phone.

"Dude, of course we'll do it! That's fuckin' awesome!"

I sighed, looked at the clock realizing it was only 4:30 in the morning, and plopped face first back onto the pillow.

After a few more minutes of Steven drawling on the phone, he finally hung up.

I rolled over to face him; he was now lying on his back with a huge grin on his face.

"What was that about?" I yawned, nuzzling closer to him.

"V-66 want's the boys to go for an interview… That was Frank just calling to tell me." He wrapped an arm around me, kissing the top of my head.

"Well that's awesome." I smiled, kissing his chest. "When is it?"

"Tomorrow, actually… Around 4, or 5 I think." He looked at the clock really quickly with a smirk. "Well, I guess you can say it's today."

"Oh, yeah." I smiled, shivering as a warm June breeze floated through the windows of our hotel room in Nashville.

A quiet yawn tumbled out of my mouth, making me drift into a land of unconsciousness, as Steven softly hummed to me.

"Well, guys…" I sighed looking at my band. "I think this has been a pretty damn successful tour, so far, and we're only half way done with it."

"Damn right, it has." Ryan chuckled, aimlessly playing the guitar. "And, no it's not… It's only June."

"And, we've already got 3 songs for a new album!" Jordan laughed "And correction, it's June 26th, which means this months is already more than half way over. Once July rolls around we've only got 2 more months until we're on a South American vacation."

"Again, correction." I smiled, pointing at Jordan. "We've got four songs… I wanna put the one I did for Gram on the new album."

"Sure. We're all totally okay with that. We love it anyway." RJ smiled kindly, assuring me that we were still a family.

We all sat back in the soft booth of a Tennessee bar, sipping on our beers and eating some good old fashioned bar food, as a comfortable silence loomed over us.

"So where's the boo thang?" RJ asked, popping a peanut into his mouth.

"Did you really just say 'boo thang'?" I laughed, rolling my eyes as I took a swig of my Heineken. "And Aerosmith has an interview with V-66 right now."

"Ahh, no wonder you're actually hanging out with us." Jordan and Ryan chuckled, bumping fists with each other.

"You're lucky I can stand you long enough to sing with you guys…"
