I stared at myself in the full length mirror. I was wearing a tight strapless mirmaid looking dress, made of white silk and embroidered with diamonds and pearls.

"Oh my god. Mia. You're gorgeous! I wish I had a dress like this for my wedding." Lauen sighed.

"Oh, shut up. You were stunning." I said, thinking back to the day my best friend got married.

I was looking across the altar at Steven, who was Joe's best man. Through the entire ceremony, Steven and I were making subtle faces at each other, and trying to make the other one blush.

Joe noticed and just shook his head at me, and chuckled.

Since I was Lauren's maid of honor, it was my job to set up her bachelorette party, and make sure she didn't flake the day of the wedding, and I did an amazing job at both.

For her Bachelorette party, I took a group of our closest friends to a club, and since I was pretty famous, I got permission for the owner to get behind the bar and mix our own drinks, for the night, which basically meant I was the designated driver.

All in all, it was a very fun night. Lauren got pretty wasted, and danced with a bunch of male strippers, while I made sure she didn't do anything too drastic.

A week later, she was married to Joseph Perry. Beth was the little flower girl, and to be honest, I think she got most of the attention that day.

I smiled at the memory and spun around to look at myself in the mirror.

"I feel like a rag doll." I sighed.

"Rag doll, livin' in a movie. Hot tramp, you're Steven's little cutie." Lauren sang, and chuckled. I rolled my eyes, and I couldn't help but to laugh.

She unzipped the back of my dress, and helped me step out of it. I pulled the next dress out of the bag, and grimaced, but put it on for Lauren's sake.

I stepped into the dress, and she zipped me up, and then I walked out of the fitting room, and onto the large platform the wedding shoppe has in front of their full length mirror.

I stared in horror at the mass amounts of ruffles and poufs that were on this dress.

Think, your typical Cinderella fairy tale white ball gown, times 10. I was horrified.

"No. No. NO. NEVER." I sighed, and went back into the fitting room, unzipped the dress and stepped out of it. I put my shorts, and tank top back on, and went to shop for more dresses. "If you see anything you like, for bridesmaids dresses, pick it out. You can wear anything you want, as long as it's like a bright red." I called back to Lauren as I was strolling the rows of white fabric.

I was about to give up, when I laid eyes on the perfect dress. I picked it up, and took it into the dressing room. I slipped it on, and pulled the zipper up the side.

"You ready, Lauren?" I called out of the fitting room.

"As I'll ever be." She called back.

I stepped out of the fitting room, and heard everyone that was in the shoppe, including Lauren who poked her head out of a fitting room, gasp. I stepped onto the platform, and looked at myself in the full length mirror.

The dress was a slim strapless maxi, made of white silk, with a top layer of sheer fabric. So simple, yet so elegant. It was perfect for a beach wedding, and for my personality. It hugged my curves in all the right places, and made me seem almost like a greek goddess. I fell in love with it, and gasped myself.

"This. This is the one." I smiled.

"It's beautiful, Mia. But it's so simple." Lauren breathed. "Oh, and is this okay for the Maid of Honor?" She asked stepping out of the fitting room to reveal a high-low silk red dress. It was a halter top, with a low cut back. It was sexy.

"That's the beauty of it." I grinned, "And of course! Like I said, as long as it's the right color. It's sexy." I growled a little, jokingly. I walked back into the fitting room, and unzipped myself from the dress. I put my clothes back on, and carried the dress out to pay for it, as Lauren did the same.

"That'll be $560." The woman at the register rang me up. I looked up from my phone and was about to hand her my credit card, when I paused, having something catch my eye. I looked closer at the item hanging from the wall.

"Can I see that, for a moment?" I asked, pointing to the object.

"Of course." She smiled and reached behind her. She handed me the small crown made of white flowers. I looked in the small mirror that was on the register counter, and placed it on my head. It was so hippie. I fell in love with it instantly.

"I'll take this too." I grinned.

"Okay, would you like us to attatch a vail to it as well?" She asked, holding up some sheer fabric.

"No thank you." I smiled and handed her my card.

Lauren and I pulled back into the driveway for the second time today.

"I'm gonna hide the dress in the closet in your room, if that's cool with you." I turned to Lauren.

"Of course, love!" She smiled "I'm so excited! My best friend is getting married, and I'm going to be her maid of honor!" She squealed and hugged me.

I giggled, and got out of the car. When we stepped into the house, Lauren distracted Steven and Joe, as I stashed the dress away in Lauren's closet.

I walked back down the stairs, and out into the kitchen where everyone was.

"How'd you ladies do?" Steven asked, grinning. "Find anything good?"

"Yeah, I found something." I smiled "It was hard work though. I felt like a regular rag doll."
