Chapter 10
Lany was chatting with her friend Helena in the bathroom of the factory where they work.
"It has been weeks since Antony has come to my house. He has stopped coming. I realized that it was after what happened between him and me," Lany said as she was washing her hands.
"He is avoiding you," her friend deduced.
"I know he has feelings for me, but he's afraid of my brother."
"Trust your brother to mess it up!" Helena mumbled.
"You are lucky because you don't have a brother." Lany said.
"Lany, since he doesn't come after you ... Why don't you go after him?"
"He wanted me to forget what happened between us."
"If he really is interested in you, he will like you going after him," Helena insisted.
Lany was pensive after her friend's sincere counsel.
