Chapter 20
Antony was lying on his bed listening to slow music, He was assailed by memories in which Lany was always present. He wished she could be with him in that moment.
A noise began to come from the iron door disturbing his thoughts. He came out of his daydream and got up from his bed.
The boy grimaced to see who it was.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, moodiness in his voice.
"I came here to see how you are," the gray-haired man replied.
"As you can see... I'm fine."
"I learned that you suffered a car accident."
"I'm ready for another." He said ironically.
"Antony, my son, why don't you come back home?" He looked back. "Instead of living in this dirty place!"
"I am doing well here."
"My son, come back home!" he insisted.
"No, father." He faced him. "I like to live here in this dirt."
"You are so stubborn!" his father exclaimed.
"I'm just living my life, without depending on you, or more precisely, your money."
"You are living the wrong way."
"I am not going to argue with you."
"Okay, I am going away," his father said.
"Great!" Antony said irritably.
"I hope for your return."
"You will get tired of waiting for me," the young man said to his father.
The well-dressed man left the garage upset at his son's obstinacy.
Antony shut the door and looked at the floor. Hebecame thoughtful, acknowledging to himself that he was rough to his father.
