Chapter 31

A red car parked in front of Antony's garage. The boy was watching the unknown car, with the capital's number plate and he couldn't imagine who was driving it.

He saw the image of a woman coming out of her vehicle. She was wearing a navy blue dress and red high heels.

He got dizzy, feeling a malaise after he had seen the woman for whom he felt a lot of anger.

"How are you Antony?" She greeted him after she unveiled her gaze by removing the sun-glasses from her face.

"What are you doing here? Did you lose your way?" He questioned as he was avoiding her gaze.

The last thing he wanted at that moment was to see her in front of him.

"I came here to see how you are," she said looking at his sweaty chest.

"I'm very well!" he responded quickly and his voice rang with arrogance.

"I'm happy for you," she said trying to find his angry gaze.

"You have already seen what you wanted. Now go away from here!" He said.

"You will not offer me a drink?" she insisted.

"My refrigerator is empty," he replied impatiently.

"You're treating me so badly!" she complained to him.

"I am treating you as you deserve," he said looking away.

She approached.

"I haven't forgotten about you," she confessed as she was looking into his eyes and at that time he looked at her face, even though he was still feeling very angry at her.

She tried to seduce him as she had done many times before in her life.

He knew her weapons of seduction well so he walked away from her, avoiding becoming a hostage of that bandit woman.

"I still love you," she confessed with her hungry eyes.

"You are ridiculous!" he said with sarcasm.

"I have always loved you and you know that well." She took another step forward. "But I wanted to live a life that you refused to give me."

"Did I refuse?" His gaze found her face again.

"Yes! You have always been rich and you hid it from me behind your dirty clothes. "

She looked at him from the bottom up, reinforcing her words.

"I don't regret not offering you this life." He looked at her with contempt. "You don't deserve it!"

"Don't talk to me that way." She began to sob. "My love for you has always been true."

"I don't need your love!" he screamed at her as he was raising his arms up. "I dismiss your vows of love!"

"If you want me back, I'll abandon everything and come to live with you here in this garage," she said desperately.

"Have you gone crazy?" He was stumped.

"I'm serious," she tried to convince him with her words.

"You go back to your big city! Back to your rich husband!" He looked at her with disgust. "And forget about me!"

"You made me do that!" her voice sounded distressed.

"I don't regret it!" He turned his back to her. "Go away! Get into your car and go back to your palace!" he mocked her. "And don't come over here again!"

"I..." she tried to say something.

"Do it as a favor for me," he interrupted her with his rude voice and he was determined not to see her again.

"I hate you!" she confessed with a feeling of resentment.

"And I will make sure you hate me more and more every day!" He said with seriousness and his hands touched his waist.

Lany walked out of the garage furious. Then she got into her red car and returned to the capital, where her wealthy husband was waiting for her return.

While in the country, Antony's heart remained full of animosity and bitter memories of unforgettable moments which he would never live again, except in another life.

He was now certain that Lany's feelings for him were never real from the beginning and she gave him false promises of a true love, but in fact it was just an ... Illusory love.
