"Who are you?! Where the hell am I?" He yelled.

He looked around frantically, his head spinning a thousand miles a minute. He couldn't exactly make out the figure coming to him, gradually.

He tried backing away, but it was no use. The figure was advancing on him menacingly.

"Quit it with the interrogation," scowled a harsh, demonic voice.

His hands were shaking and his teeth were chattering. He didn't know what to do. Was this the end? Was all his hard work for nothing?

"P-please don't hurt me. Let me be. What did I do wrong?"

He let out a cacophonous laugh. "You're kidding me, right? You really think I've gone through all that trouble to 'let you be'"? He snorted. "No. No way in Hell. I'm ending you. Your time is up. If anything, it was a long time coming. No use wasting more time," he pulled out something dauntingly sharp from behind him.

He let the tears fall down his face as his head swarmed with thoughts.

This can't be happening.

What did I ever do to deserve this.

Why me?

Why.

He suddenly tripped over a tree root and fell to the ground, scraping his knee. He was going to feel a lot more pain then just on his knee in a few moments if he didn't do something. But he was so stunned he couldn't bring himself to fight back.

The figure was standing over him now. It was very dark, but he could swear he was grinning.

The being held his weapon high above his head, catching light from the moon.

He shut his eyes tightly and braced himself for the end.

"Katie! Katie! Wake up! C'mon get up!" My best friend, Lexi, was jumping up and down on my bed yelling at me.

I mumbled curses under my breath and buried my head under my pillow.

"You asked for it."

Before I could figure out what she was going to do, I suddenly felt an icy cold liquid spreading rapidly across my body. I literally jumped out of my bed completely shocked.

"What the hell Alexa!" I shrieked.

She was rolling on the floor, laughing so hard that it looked like she was going to explode. All I could do was glare at her.

"I told you to get up," she smirked when she finally calmed down. I just shook my head, shivering.

She tossed me a towel. "You don't want to be late. First day of school and all."

I didn't hesitate to roll my eyes.

She merely grinned in amusement.

"How did you even get in here anyway?" I questioned her.

"Isabelle let me in."

"I still find it so odd how you call my mom by her first name," I scrunched up my face.

"Hey, she insists," Alexa laughed.

"Anyway, what should I wear today?" I replied, rolling my eyes.
