[Katie's POV]
"But I just went on tour!" Justin exclaimed.
"I know that. This tour is more like a mini series of acoustic concerts," Scooter said.
I looked over to Justin, who seemed to be contemplating something.
"Mom, what do you think?" he asked after a while.
"I think it's a pretty nice idea. It's been a few months since you've done a concert."
"I agree," Erin added. "I know you're taking a bit of a break, but it's been a while. Your fans miss you."
"I'd do it, just to ensure you're staying relevant. Plus Scooter said 'mini'. What is your idea of a mini tour, by the way?" Jeremy asked.
"We would drive around to small towns to give some of your less fortunate fans a chance to see and hear you live. We'll also throw in a few meet and greets every here and there. It'll give you some good press as well. And it would only go on for as long as you want it to. It doesn't have to be all at once," Scooter said hopefully.
"Katie?" Justin looked at me after a few moments. All eyes landed on me.
"It sounds like a great opportunity for you and your fans. I definitely approve," I smiled at him.
He looked as if he wanted to say something else, but he didn't. I let it go and decided to ask him about it later.
"Alright, I'll do it," Justin agreed. We all cheered, and bystanders congratulated him.

Justin and I decided to leave the party ahead of everyone else. It's been a long day, and we deserve some rest.
"Are you excited about the mini tour?" I asked him, breaking the ice while we were driving back.
"Sure," he said monotonously. His eyes were focused on the road.
"What's wrong? You've been acting kind of strange."
He didn't answer.
"Look, I'm sorry if the test-mission-thing too extreme. I honestly meant no harm. It's hard thinking of an out-of-the-box gift for you when you can literally buy anything you want. I promise I'll never pull a stunt like that again."
He remained silent, keeping his eyes locked on the road.
"Justinnnn," I pleaded. "I'm sorry. I truly am. I'm sorry I had you worried sick and I'm sorry you spent most of your Christmas worrying if I was okay or not. And I'm sorry it wasn't exactly the day you had in mind. I'll make up for it in any way I can. It was extreme, and I'm really really really sorry. Please talk to me. Please?"
"Justin I'm gonna start crying if you continue ignoring me," I said after a few moments of the continuous lingering silence. Realizing I was serious, his face finally softened.
"It's fine. I'm not really mad anymore. I understand you had good intentions," he reassured me. "There's just one thing that's bothering me."
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
"It's not about the actual test if that's what you're concerned about," he sighed. "Today made me realize a lot of things, including the fact that I don't know how long I can be away from you without going insane. You're my biggest weakness. Someone could easily destroy me just by taking you away, and that worries me. Without you I'm nothing."
"Justin, don't say that. You have a lot of other people that love you, including your millions of fans. If you lost me, you would have many other people to fall back on," I insisted.
