"How did job searching go?" Justin poked his head out of a random room.

"Great! I'm now an official worker of Abercrombie and Fitch," I smiled from ear to ear, locking the front door.

"Baby that's fantastic," he came over and hugged me.

"I start work in a few days. I already met some of my future co-workers. Everyone is SO nice. I already feel like a member of the family."

"I'm so happy for you. Really, I am," he kissed my cheek.

I guess I should clear some things up. Today was the day after Christmas. Justin was released from the hospital this morning, but my parents and Meredith have to stay for at least a week. Justin drove me to his house, but he had a meeting with Scooter to go to. I thought while he was out, I'd go job hunting. My car was dropped off here along with my parents'.

At the mall, I was turned down from Delias, Justice, Pacsun, and 2 Cute. They didn't have room for any more employees. When I got to Abercrombie, the manager saw me, knew who I was and what happened and blatantly offered me a job. Since I'm apparently somewhat famous for being connected to Justin, she thought it'd boost the store's sales by attracting more customers. Plus she said I had charming looks, so I'd blend right in. I couldn't thank the manager enough.

I let Justin buy me the basic, fundamental necessities on the way to his place, like toiletries, a new backpack with supplies, a phone charger, etc. Plus he let me have the orange-smelling shampoo and conditioner that I used before the towel fiasco.

With the money I already had in my wallet ($50) plus $1,000 Justin literally stuffed in my purse, I shopped along with searching. Alexa brought me a change of clothes for the day, so I could go out and buy more stuff. Since it was the day after Christmas, stores were practically throwing things away. I went to Victoria's secret and raided the store in need for bras and underwear. Then I went to other random stores to get shirts, pants, shoes, socks, a coat, a flat iron, etc. The clothes I bought were pretty basic, like jeans, leggings and sweaters to last me the rest of the winter. I didn't feel the need to buy pajamas, because Justin's lazy-day clothes were perfect. Regardless, I was determined to make my own money and pay Justin back.

When I was done with my basic needs, I bought some extra things, including perfume, jewelry, and make-up (which Justin largely disapproves of but I don't care). When I was completely done, I was holding like 50 bags, earning weird looks from a lot of bystanders. I had to stuff it all in the trunk of my car before I went back in to actually fulfill what I went there for.

All in all, I guess you can say I bounced back quickly from the fire, thanks to Justin. My dad would cover stuff for my mom and sister. My mom is a housewife; she met my dad at 17 while she was waitressing. They fell madly in love and married less than a year later. She was pregnant with me at 18, and 3 years later came my sister. My mom spent all of her all time taking care of us while my dad was in medical school. Even though she decided not to go back into the workforce, she always kept herself busy. She was active in the community by attending book clubs, hosting fundraisers and charity events and so on.

My phone has been blowing up all day. Friends and family found out what happened from the news and wanted to know how everyone was. Scooter scheduled an interview on The Ellen Show to clear everything up. Some people thought some illegal drug was hidden in my house and we was set it on fire to destroy the evidence, or me and Justin secretly smoked and accidentally set the house on fire. People these days.

A video of me breaking down at the scene was released online. A lot of people made fun of me. Some memes were trending as well. Many thought it was funny that I was close to ripping that particular fireman to shreds. However, many beliebers convinced others that it was a critical situation and they'd do the same. Social media is really a wild ride.
