"Is something wrong sweetie?" Pattie asked me as I stomped by the kitchen.

"Oh, uh I'm fine! It's nothing you need to worry about," I put on a fake smile as I put on my uggs. "If Justin asks, I'm going to a friend's house."

I picked up my coat and purse and walked out the door to my car without another word.

"And that's about it," I finished to my friends. I ended up driving to Alexa's and the whole crew (Kim, Angela, Ivy, and Grace) turned out to be there too.

"That was a lot for two and a half days!" Kim exclaimed. She was referring to christmas, the day after, and then now, the 27th.

"Did he ever give you a present?" Angela pondered.

"Nah but it's alright because he saved Meredith.., and everything else he's done for me since then."

"Yeah we saw a lot of stuff on the news and the web about that but we didn't want to bother you," Grace admitted.

"It's fine. I'm sorry I've been so busy lately and-"

"Don't worry about it. Things are always in the fast lane when they involve someone like Justin," Ivy reassured.

"You guys are the best," I enveloped them all into a big hug. "Moving past my dramatic life, what's up with you guys? Anything new?"

"Not really," Alexa shrugged. "Nothing but everyone on twitter buzzing about you and Justin."

"Oh! Did you make an instagram?" Kim asked me.

"I did," I smiled.

"That's fantastic! And you already have like 900k followers! Damn girl!" Angela exclaimed.

"It's crazy isn't it?" I laughed. "Let me follow you guys too."

After all that was said and done, we became bored.

"Come on, guys! We used to be like non-stop talking!" Grace spoke up.

"The only drama has been with Katie and Justin. And Kelsie boasting about the lingerie she got from the Ellen show," Alexa rolled her eyes and laughed.

"Riiiight," I laughed.

"Well let's do girl stuff," Kim suggested.

"Yeah! My nail polish is peeling off," I complained.

"And I've always wanted to do a blind makeover," Ivy piped up.

"So what are we waiting for?" Angela chuckled.

We spent the next three hours doing our hair, nails, and make-up (PS, the only thing that came out decent for us was the nails).

"I think I look hot," I laughed, pointing to my eyeliner unibrow and pigtails.

"Let's take a picture!" Kim suggested.

"Alright, I'll post it to my instagram," I said, pulling out my phone. We all smiled as if we looked normal and I posted it with the caption 'bet you wish you were us'.

They all re-posted it. Ivy's caption was the funniest, saying 'halloween came early this year'.

We were in the middle of prank phone calls on Kim's phone when I heard my own ring.

"It's Justin," I looked at them. They ended their call and looked at me expectantly. I answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Katie, where are you?"

"At a friend's... why?"

"Oh..."
