"What the fuck was that?" Scooter yelled once we safely reached the van.

"Look Scooter, I know you're mad."

"Mad? MAD?! I'm five miles passed mad!" He boomed. "You were given an order and deliberately disobeyed me. I told you you would have the chance eventually but you had to take matters into your own hands!"

"I couldn't take it anymore! I feel better because I got that off my chest!"

"You'll feel good temporarily, but you're gonna regret it soon! Look, the reason why we wanted you to wait was for two reasons. One, we wanted you to space out the time between your breakup with Selena and getting together with Katie so they don't think you hop from girl to girl!"

"It's been like a month! How long do you need?"

"For people to stop talking about it!" He sighed. "And the second reason was really for Katie's sake. We wanted her to finish her last year of high school as a normal girl not bombarded by middle-aged men and flashing cameras."

I took his words into consideration.

"Fuck, why didn't I think of that," I buried my head in my hands. "See maybe if you let me in on the loop I would've known!"

He stayed silent, studying me.

"Do you think Katie will be pissed?" I looked up at him.

"I honestly don't know. She's your girlfriend."

"Driver, pull over to the closest grocery store!"

"He did not," Pattie gaped at me.

"He did! I was simply watching and he said 'No...we're not just simply dating. I'm in love with her'!"

"Oh. M. GEEEEEE!" She flailed her arms in front of her face.

"I know! I wasn't expecting it at all."

"I'm so proud of him that he finally came clean about your guys' relationship."

"Me too," I chuckled. "But Scooter probably let all hell break loose on him for not listening to what he said."

"True," Pattie said. "But what's done is done."

After the interview, I basically let out my excitement with Pattie when she came in the room and asked what was wrong. Guess she heard my squeals from downstairs.

"What do you think is going to happen now?" Pattie asked animatedly. See this is why I love her. She's the type of cool mom I can gossip with.

"I have no idea. But whatever happens, we'll do it together," I smiled.

"You guys are so cute," She giggled. "Sooooooo."

"What?"

"How does it feel to be halfway done with senior year?"

"I've been so preoccupied with Justin that I haven't even thought of that. But now that I do think about it, time is really flying."

"It does," She nodded. "Are you ready for college?"

"Uh, yeah," I shrugged.

"What's wrong?" She asked, noticing the tone in my voice that says otherwise.

"Okay I'll tell you, but don't tell Justin."

"I cross my heart."

"Okay, well, it's expected that every student will go to some amazing, prestigious college right?"
