"What are you guys snickering about?" I asked my lunch table as I sat down.
"Your shirt," Angela said.
I looked down. "It just says 'Swaggy'. What's the big deal?"
"It's Justin Bieber," Ivy said.
"What?" I gave her a confused look.
"Swaggy is one of the words he likes to say a lot. So you're wearing something related to Justin Bieber," Grace said.
"I'd never think I'd see the day," Alexa commented. They all burst out laughing.
I turned to Alexa and flipped her off. "You gave me this shirt! I knew something was up!"
She could barely breathe. I rolled my eyes and began to eat my sandwich.
Apart from the swaggy crop top, I was wearing a black fold over maxi skirt and red sandals. It hid my sprained ankle well. My hair was in a fishtail braid with a red ribbon at the end.
"Sorry about your car by the way," Alexa leaned over and whispered to me. Last night we couldn't find that old thing. I guess I have to face my parents when I get home from school today. I unexpectedly sighed loudly.
"What's wrong?" Angela inquired. "I hope you didn't get offended about the shirt thing. We were just messing around. It looks really cute on you, whether it's about Justin or-"
"It's fine," I cut her off. "I'm not worried about that."
"Then what is it?" Ivy narrowed her eyes at me.
"Ok... Can you guys keep a secret?"
They all nodded their heads fervently.
"Okay, so last night.."

"Are you sure you don't want me to go inside with you? Your parents might go a little easier on you," Alexa pressed as we approached my bus stop. Since I no longer have a car and Alexa doesn't have her driver's license, I forced to go back to riding the bus. So ghetto.
"It's fine. I have to face them alone. If they take away my phone and computer, I'll tell you about it in school tomorrow."
"Okay. Good luck!"
I waved her goodbye and exited the bus. I slowly walked up my porch steps. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
"Mom, dad, I have to talk to you."
"You sure do," my mom stared at me furiously, my dad coming from behind her.
"Why is your car on the TV?" My dad asked me solemnly.
"Wait, what?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Come see for yourself," my parents cleared the way for me and I walked over to the living room, setting my backpack down on the floor.
"Yeah, definitely," I saw Justin Bieber in an interview with TMZ.
"Oh really, so what's the general message you want to send out there?" The interviewer asked him. Justin then turned, staring directly at the camera. "To my mystery girl from a few nights ago: I'd like to thank you in person for saving my life, but I have no idea who you are. You might want your car back and a few other prizes. So if anyone has any information about her, I'd really appreciate it. I really want to find her."
"Care to describe what happened?" The interviewer brought Justin's attention back to him.
"No," He said flatly. "It was very.. It's too.." He couldn't find the right words. "Just.. no, thank you."
