Mr. Cheng didn’t know to be happy or not.
Of course he was happy, but he just sold his daughter for one million dollars.

It was way too much and the Tangs could hardly pay off their rent.
Then it occurred to him that the only ones who could actually afford that much money in one night, was none other than the Wu’s.
He felt guilt run through him.

“Tank!” Ella yelled as she ran and gave him a hug.
“What’s the hug for?”
“For helping me.”
“I didn’t do much..”
“It was better than nothing. I owe you one.” she said, thanking him again.
“Well, you need to go change.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s time for the ladies and the bidders to have a dance.”
“What about you?”
“I’ll be dancing. I won Jade Liu. Do you know her?”
“No, not really. She’s really nice though. Have fun.” Tank nodded.
“I better see you on that dance floor tonight.” Tank warned. “or else.”

“Ella stay still!” Hebe said as she was trying to put on Ella’s dress on her.
“Selina, why don’t you sit on her? She won‘t stay still.” Hebe whined.
“Gladly.” Selina answered as she sat on Ella’s lap.
“Selina!” Ella cried. “I don’t see the point in wearing the dress, I’m not going out there anyways.”
“Yes, you are!” Hebe demanded.
“Ella Cheng?” A voice called as a knock was heard.
Ella turned around.
“Oh, hi.” she knew who he was.
He was the ‘one million dollar’ guy, a.k.a (also know as) Danson Tang.
Hebe and Selina excused their selves out of the room.
“Um, I’m really sorry. But there was a mistake. I’m not actually part of the auction-” Ella started explaining.
“Oh, well you can explain the rest to my friend.” Danson said.
“Your friend?” Ella asked dumbly.
“Hello, Ella.” a voice came in.
A voice she knew a little too well.
“Chun?”

“It was all a set up, Ella.” Danson said.
“What? why?” Ella asked.
“Look at you.” Chun said. Ella felt anger run through her.
She fell in love with him for THIS?
“And then, look at me.” Ella pierced her eyes into Chun. Not paying attention to Danson.
