It was exactly 6 when Chun came out of his car to get Ella for their first date.
Ella came to conclusion that he did go through a lot because of her, so she let the excuse slide.
When she forced herself to bid her parents good night she got in the car with Chun.
He stared at her like there was no tomorrow.
She was exquisitely beautiful.
For the first time ever, he saw her in a short dress.
Her parents obviously made her wear it.
The dress only came up to her mid-thigh.
Which he thought was perfect.
Her hair was reflecting light in the dark night.
Her skin seemed to glow.
She was wearing make-up and jewelry.
And he noticed for the first time that she lost some weight.
The idea of eating her right there came across his mind.
He would have gain more pleasure that way anyways.
“Ella, you’re beautiful.” Chum complemented.
Ella shyly looked away and told him to just drive.
Ella sat across from Chun in a dimmed restaurant not knowing what to say.
They were in their own little corner where surprisingly no one could see them.
“Hello, Madam, Sir--I am Stefan. I’ll be your waiter tonight. Could I get you some wine before a meal?…” Stefan asked.
Chun order for himself and for Ella.
She didn’t have a clue what to drink or how to order.
“You know, Chun. I didn’t think you’d actually take me here.” Ella said after she felt him just stare into her beauty.
“Where’d you think I was going to take you?”
“Well, I thought a certain Grandpa of yours might have missed me.” Ella sarcastically said.
Chum smiled.
He could feel that she was starting to have a conversation.
“Ella, I know what I did was wrong and I don’t--”
“Don’t.” she begged. “I already forgave you. Just stop apologizing, ok?” Ella said playing with her salad.
“Why?” he asked.
Ella looked at him as if that was the dumbest question ever.
Without thinking she pulled him into a kiss.
For the first time in her life, she felt like she was in control.
Finally, things were going to start off right.
When she pulled away from her sudden actions, he just started at her in even more confusion.
“That’s why.” she said and caressed his cheek. “Because I still love you.”
Even though he wasn’t sure if he loved this woman in front of him yet, he was sure as hell going to make an effort to love her like no one ever had.
---
Chun carried her off into their bedroom after having a wonderful dinner and too many drinks.
“are you sure you want to do this?” Chun whispered as he genially put her down on the bed.
