Adam's OTP?

I blinked the remnants of sleep left me as I adjusted to being alive to the world again, I blindly patted around the dresser for my glasses I could faintly hear one of the kids crying. It wasn't the sound that woke me up much more of an instinct, since Adam and TimTim decided to sound proof the all the rooms. I looked at Max who was sleeping soundly although a large red mark was on his side, I guess I used him as a pillow last night. I glanced at the clock it was 4:57, a new record. I stretched letting my back pop back into place before I quietly opened the door. The hallway was dimly light from the small nightlight Adam put up after he tripped on Milton more than a couple of times. I opened the door and peaked in, Newt was sitting up crying Pandora was glaring at Newt probably pissed that he woke her up, Mattie was curled up sitting on her ridiculously large grizzly bear that Jess gave her.

"Hey buddy, hey Mommy's here Newt. Easy buddy" I crooned softly picking him up, he felt heavier and his diaper was drooping. I sighed and placed him on his changing table, he looked at me curiously I heard a floorboard creak forbiddingly. I took the time to untapped Newt's diaper, six months taught me that you don't rush when changing a diaper.

"Jin you might want to work on those ninja moves" I said grabbing the baby powder like a seasoned pro, the days of babysitting finally paid off I guess. I heard another floorboard creek as Jin stepped over the threshold, I could almost hear him cringe at the unnaturally loud noise the floor board created.

"Can you tell me how you avoided those in almost complete darkness?" He asked resting his chin on my shoulder, I patted his head with one hand while my other one grabbed a new diaper. Jin lifted his chin and propped his hip up on Pandora's changing table.

"A magician never reveals their secrets Jinbop" I said picking up Newt and nuzzling him I could hear Jin silently dawing at the cuteness of the moment I place Newt back in the crib and rubbed Pandora's back so she'd go back to sleep.

"I would have never seen it coming" Jin said looking around at the warm colored room, I left a dozing Pandora to sit next to Jin on Mattie's changing table. He seemed sad almost if I had to say, then again he did leave for four years, I could tell that something was still eating him up. Even if he let some guilt go that barely scratched the surface, Jin wasn't ready to let that guilt go.

The again who is?

"Jin you're leading me. I know that, I know you better than you think but I'm not a physic. I can't read your mind and I can't rip information from your brain. I can make assumptions but to state a case I need evidence. And I don't know where you're taking me or the conversation, but I need to know so I don't make a mistake that I can't fix." I rumbled in a deep voice so I didn't wake Pandora or Newt, Mattie was almost impossible to wake up without food. Jin's eyes flashed with jumbled emotions I let him sort through them for a few minutes before I looked at Mattie. She was completely still I couldn't see her chest rise from where I'm standing but every so often her muscles would twitch.

I'm so worried about her.

I heard a door creak open and large feet carefully making their way towards the door, by the heavy landings on the heel I'm going to guess it's Adam. My assumption was confirmed when I heard someone trip over Milton, a soft giggle followed I looked over at Jin to my surprise he was lead back against the wall and sleeping lightly. A quick look out the window confirmed my suspicion. It was morning maybe seven thirty if I had to guess.

Adam poked his head through the door way Mason oh his hip looking curiously at the three children almost his age* Newt stared right back. That's right we never did introduce them did we?

"Should we let them get acquainted?" Adam asked his voice was normal considering everybody was getting up now, early bird or not.

"Unless you want all of them to be friendless hermits for the rest of their lives, Yes" I said elbowing Jin in the ribs semi gently. He sleeps like a dead elephant okay, it takes for than a soft prod to wake him up if we can manage that. He grunted and rolled off the changing table the landing jolted him awake, I prodded his thigh with my foot as I walked past, he grunted disheveled from falling asleep on a changing table.

I picked Newt up balancing him on my hip and I picked up Pandora and balanced her on my other hip, I carefully avoided the minefield of large legos and place them down on a large foam mat where Adam already placed Mason. Avoiding a toy truck I picked up Matthew and bounced her up and down gently just enough to wake her up, her eyes opened as she looked at me curiously she tilted her head slightly. I smiled and placed her down next to Mason, she gently prodded Mason's arm who prodded her arm back.

Mattie tilted her head and reached both arms out to Mason, who copied the movements and it made them look like they were hugging. I heard Adam and Jin fangirling and taking pictures, Newt and Pandora looked at the two curiously before going back to building with oversized lego's. And by play I mean smashing them against one another to see what would happen. When Adam and Jin finally calmed down I turned to them with an eyebrow raised.

"So is Masthew your new OTP?"
