Ross You're What?!

Max's POV

"Are they here yet?" Adam asked from the couch looking at me from his upside down position his face red. I heard Ross snort as he flipped to the next page of whatever book he was reading Matthew was leaning against his chest her eyes flitting across the pages as if she could read it.

"Adam I swear to god, if you ask again I will kick your ass- OW JESUS!" Jin yelped from his spot holding his head 'Cat in a Hat' sat on the floor next to him abandoned, Ross snorted again and absently reached out for a jar on the table next to him holding it out.

"Pay up Jinny" he said not looking up from his book, Jin looked at him before grumbling and pulling a dollar out of his coat pocket and sticking it in the jar.

"It's not enough that you throw Dr. Seuss at us, you're making us pay you for cursing." He said running his skull from where the book hit him, it probably didn't hurt as much as he was saying it was.

"Ye" Ross said flipping the page, the corner of Matthew's lips twitches upwards as if she read something funny.

"It looks like that medicine worked," Adam said flipping himself upwards again wobbling as he got used to the sensation of blood rushing away from his head. "What's it called again?"

"Clozaril" Ross said looking up from his book, he looked at me raising an eyebrow "You did remember to put her blood test on the calendar right? Once a week for the better part of the next six months." He said ruffling Matthew's rapidly growing curly locks, if her hair kept growing at the rate it was she would become Hermione Granger in no time.

"Why does she need to do that again?" Jin asked over his hurt ego already and leaning forward looking at the ball of content in Ross' lap.

"Well, she was pretty deep in the hallucinations so they had to skip right to the most powerful antipsychotic they had. But because it's so powerful in adults, this is regular for the adults anyway, we have to make sure it doesn't accidentally thin her blood." He said, I stood up from the chair and peaked into the playroom.

We had a playroom built because Adam and Barney refused to babysit unless they had a designated area to keep them. Because of the heart attack they had last time when Red had them I guess. Pandora was messing around with a thousand piece puzzle, Newt had his back pressed against hers as he played with toy soldiers. This was one of the few times we didn't have Mason around Matthew because he needed to sleep, so he found comfort on Fluffy's bed the bear curled around him like a giant fluffy body pillow.

I'm not sure why we trust bears more than other human beings. I guess it's because Fluffy is seeming terrified of Matthew when she looks mad, she has one of the best bitch faces I've ever seen on a baby.

And I'm pretty sure Alesa was feeding Arthur upstairs in her room.

"Hey Jin" Adam asked from the living room, "are they here yet- OW FUCKING SHI-AUGH JESUS HELL" he yelled as the sound of a bag of meat hit the floor.

"Pay up" Ross said calmly holding the jar out for Adam "F-bombs are five" he reminded as Adam cursed from his spot on the floor, a dictionary taking his spot on the couch along with a copy of 'Are you my mother?'.

"Ross, did you just hit our boss with a dictionary?" I asked looking at Adam as he dug the money out of his jean pockets, Matthew snorted and turned the page.

"As long as he's living in the house you guys bought with my insurance, and curses around the children, I will throw a thesaurus at him next." He said hints of a parental tone leaking into his voice.

Jin held his hands up in mock terror, "Gasp, we are so afraid of you and your shiiiiiiiii-" He saw Ross reaching for the dictionary "-iiiitaki mushrooms" he said saving himself from a dictionary to the face.

"Hey Ross," I asked Ross looked up at me pushing his glasses up his nose, "When are Barney and Red supposed to be back? They've been in Russia for over a week, and TimTim and the two little brats sitting over there want to go Halloween shopping." I said gesturing to Jin and Adam.

"If you wanted to know you could call TimTim. The one picking them up." He said flatly, his tone was meant to sound flat and emotionless, but as a person who has lived with Ross for years I could hear the humor he held behind them.

"Oh hush" I said taking off his glasses and resting them on the top of my head, Ross squinted at me and rolled his narrowed eyes looking back at the book blankly. Because he's blind as fuck and can't read the book without smushing it against his face.

"Bet you can't walk up the stairs and back down with them on" he said sticking his tongue out at me, I returned the gesture before taking the glasses off my head and putting them back on Ross' face.

"Yeah no, I don't have a death wish." I said plopping down next to him, Matthew looked up at the door for a few second before returning to the book, a crooked smile on her face.

"Uncle Jinboob" she said softly getting Jin's attention and making Adam cover his mouth to stop himself from laughing at Mattie's nickname. "Do you want to make a bet on one of Aunt Barney and Uncle Reds kids name?" She asked looking at her uncle head tilted slightly to make her appear more innocent.

Jin smiled and held his head in his hand, "Sure Sushi Roll, what we betting? And I think one of their names will be Chikalur." He said using a softer tone than normal with my daughter, everybody has when they noticed that she reacted to softer more feminine voices better than a deep scratchy masculine voice.

"Ivan, and if I win, will you take me to the store and let me buy seven toys." She said holding up seven fingers to emphasize her math skills. Jin chuckled as nodded.

"Deal Sushi Roll" he said plopping back into the he was smiling "hey if he's name is Ivan I'll let you get some flowers or some ddong" he said looking at Ross and sticking his tongue out, Ross gave him a quick glare for cursing in Korean but didn't smack him with a book.

"Speak of the dinosaur Devil," Adam said pulling out his phone as it dinged, "they said they're in the driveway"  he said standing up and offering Jin a hand to get up.

"CHIKALUR BONG BONG IT IS THE BEST PARENTS COMMINGS INS!" Barney shouted a small girl with short dusty brown hair her eyes were a deep ocean blue as they looked at the new people in the room, Red followed with a platinum haired boy with lilac eyes rubbing his face like he was tired of his wife's shit.

"Yes Ivan that is your mom" he said to the platinum haired boy, Ivan smiled and looked around and paused on Matthew tilting his head in confusion.

"Medved'? He asked in what I could only assume was Russian, Matthew smiled and held out her hand. Red raised an eyebrow and placed Ivan down on the couch next to Matthew.

"Volk" she said simply reaching out and placing her hand on his hair, Ivan gesaustes before copying the movements.

"Wait what's there names?" Jin asked looking at the two children, Barney laughed and placed the girl down on the other side of Matthew.

"Ivan and Katushya" he said ruffling Katushya's hair, her face tinged pink and she butted her head into Matthews side.

Jin looked at Matthew halfway to scared "HOW THE FUCK YOU LITTL- OW WHERE DID YOU GET THE THESOURCE FROM!" Jin yelped holding his nose, Ross shrugged as the three kids in his lap laughed.

"Pay up uncle Jinboob" Matthew crooned
