I sat on my bed with my legs crossed as I scrolled down twitter and tumblr. My phone was beside me, blinking with notifications.

I stopped scrolling for a bit and focused my attention on the TV show that was playing.

Soon after, I was called down to eat dinner.

I closed my laptop, turned off my TV and tucked my phone into the small pocket that my sweat pants had.

I made my way down the stairs, following the delicious smell of food that lead to the kitchen.

It was our typical dinner. One part meat, one part vegetables, one part bread. This time, we had chicken, beans and a bread roll.

My mom was all about being healthy, and living a healthy lifestyle. She would be horrified if she found out that Tony and I eat burgers, fries and unbelievable amounts pizza.

"Lets eat. I'm starving," my mom smiled as she dug into her meal.

I began eating the beans first, taking only small bites of my chicken and bread.

"So what were you and Tony doing?" My mom brought up as she took a bite of her bread roll.

"What we always do. Talk, go on social networking websites, watch TV." I replied calmly as I stabbed the last bean with my fork.

"Stay out of the bed," my dad chuckled.

"Oh my gosh dad...." I whispered as sopped up the gravy from my plate with my bread roll.

"You know, kids now.. They're crazy. Especially the boys," my mom shook her head.

Nodding in agreement, my dad grabbed another piece of chicken.

They began talking about people that I didn't know who made stupid and insanely horrible choices.

"Tony and I aren't like that," I coughed, "the most romantic thing we've done was eat burgers on the beach as we watched the sun set."

"Good." My parents said in unison.

After finishing dinner, I put everything into the sink and splashed some water on it.

"Thanks for dinner," I smiled as I made my way upstairs.

I walked into my room, closing the door behind me. Sighing, I removed my contacts and placed on my prescribed glasses.

I took my phone out of my pocket. It had been vibrating nonstop with notifications, making me unbelievably uncomfortable as I ate.

I scrolled through the notifications, revealing that I had about 68 new texts from my friends' group chat, including a few texts from Tony.
