I let out a light yelp as I fell from the decorative ladder. A shocking pain spread throughout my body as I hit the grass.

My phone that was previously in my pocket, was obviously dropped before I fell because it was shattered on the cement, just a few inches away from where I laid.

I rolled around on the grass, trying to find a comfortable place to lay. My body ached all over, and being comfortable on te grass after falling down, probably wasn't gonna happen.

"Hey... Are... Are you okay?" A voice said. It seemed distant, but close enough.

"I kind of just fell," I said calmly, "Can you get someone out here to help me?"

"Hey, aren't you my sister's friend? Brooke, right?" The voice asked, almost seeming upllifted.

"I would turn to look at you, but everything hurts." I laughed, "but I assumed youre Nick, right?"

"You are indeed right." He walked over to me, laying in the grass beside me.

"So, do you think you can help me or something?" I asked, slightly turning my head to look at him,

He was looking up at the sky, and the moon was shining onto his face.

He smiled, "you want me to tell your parents? Because I'm totally up for that."

"Not necessarily. I just want to not stare up into the sky, and lay in the grass."

"Why? It's nice out. You can see everything!"

"I just fell from that thing. I'm pretty sure I have a broken something. Who knows?" I sighed.

"So what do I do?" He asked, sitting up.

"Go door bell at my house and get my parents to answer the door and pick me up from here. I'm possibly injured, so they probably won't get as mad that I tried to sneak into the house."

"Whatever you say.." He stood up and walked towards my front door.

I plucked a few strands of grass out of the ground, then threw it back onto the ground.

After afew minutes, he came back and laid beside me in the grass.

After several minutes of silence, he finally spoke up. "So they didn't answer."

"They're probably at work then," I groaned. "Here, help me stand up. I have my key and everything."

I put my arm up for him to grab, but he shook his head.

"How do you know your legs aren't broken?"

"Well, we'll see."

I put my arms up again, and he took it after sighing.

I cringed as stood on both my legs. A shock of pain shot through mmy body as I tried to balance on my two feet.

"Nope, nope, nope." I screamed as I sat back onto the grass.

Nick let out a little laugh before picking me up and carrying me to my door.

TONY'S POV

The last I heard, Brooke let out a yelp. After that, it was silence, then the phone call ended. I tried to call numerous times, but there was no answer. After numerous attempts, I put my phone beside me and continued watching the movie.

Minutes later, my mom came into the house holding numerous colors of clothing and flowers. She threw it all on the kitchen table before taking a seat next to me. She rubbed her temples and sighed before sprawling her limbs across the couch.

"I think you're turning into Bridezilla," I joked.

A smile appeared on her lips before she spoke, "I probably am."

"You look so tired. Why don't you sleep?"

"I think I will."

She made her way to the stairs, walking up into her room.

I turned off the TV, grabbed my phone, then walked upstairs into my room.

Surprisingly, my room wasn't as messy and hard to get through. My mom had gone crazy and ended up cleaning my room along with the entire house.

I paced around my room. I was both worried about my overly stressed mother, and the fact that my girlfriend potentially fell off a ladder.

"Hey, I didn't notice that our windows were directly across from each other?" A voice said from outside my window.

I looked up to see the neighbor girl leaning out the window with a smile on her face.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"You okay? You've been pacing aaround for like... 20 minutes..."

"You've been watching me for 20 minutes?" I chuckled.

"I'm over exaggerating." She rolled her eyes, "so what do you guys do around here efor fun? Any crazy parties? Teen bars...?"

"I'm not that type of guy." I plastered a smile on my face.

For first impressions, she wasn't the type that seemed to be into crazy partying and things.

"Oh, that kinda sucks. You look like someone who would know how to do that teenage movie stuff," she twirled her hair around her finger. "You wanna go and show me around?"

"What do you mean? Take a walk?"

"Yeah, let's go. I'm totally ready. I'll meet you outside!" She shrieked as she slammed her window shut.

I shook my head and closed my window. What did I just get myself into?

BROOKES POV

"You know you can leave now, right?" I said as Nick paced around my kitchen in search for something to put on my now swollen ankle.

"You can't leave an injured person alone. What'll happen if some crazy person breaks into the house? How are you gonna run with the... watermelon sized ankle?"

"It's not that swollen... More like a... An apple." I joked back.

"Fruit jokes... Cute." He finally pulled out a few freezies, then placed them on my ankle.

I winced as he placed them on, but I was instantly relieved afterwards.

"So how do you like it here?"

"It's cool. A lot more teenage partners than in my town, but it's okay."

"I don't talk as much as my sister, so I'll actually listen to you talk." He laughed.

I joined along in the laughing.

He grabbed the remote control and turned on the TV. "Do you guys have netflix?"

"Yes. But i think my parent may have gotten rid of it on here. I have it on my laptop."

"Can we watch something in Netflix? I can grab it."

"Yeah. Third room on the left." I smiled.

He nodded his head before he walked up the stairs.

What was I thinking? I let a stranger into my room to get my laptop. For all I knew, he could steal my things and go through everything. I have to remember to check everything once I go back upstairs.

He came down moments later, holding my Mac in one arm and a blanket in the other.

"I thought you'd need this." He through the blanket at me. "I just grabbed it off of your bed."

"Thanks." I nodded, wrapping the blanket around me.

"So what do you wanna watch?" He looked me in the eyes.

I was just staring into his eyes for a few seconds. I was captured, captivated in them.

"Sorry," I shook my head.

He chuckled before covering his eyes with his hands. "I get that a lot. Can you hear me better if I cover my eyes? Less distracting?"

He smiled, showing off his straight teeth.

"I don't care what we watch." I whispered.

He uncovered his eyes before scrolling through the netflix selection. After asking me about my opinion on movies numerous times, he finally decided on some action movie.

---

My parents came home after we watched 3 movies. They came with leftovers from a restaurant and a Starbucks frapp.

My mom had a surprised expression as she walked in to see a sleeping Nick leaning on my shoulder and a swollen ankle.
