(Kat's POV)
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"While you were gone, I turned my room into our room."
"How?"
"Well,why don't you see."
He opened the door and it took my breath away.
The walls were still a dark blue and Manning was in gold script above the bed. His dresser was still there, only now another one was placed next to it. The thing that took my breath away though was the painting that was hanging above the bed.
It was the canvas painting Gavin gave me, the one of him and I on the beach. My all time favorite.
"Do you like it?"
"No, I don't like it. I love it."
"Really? Because I know it's only temporary but.."
"Temporary?"
"Well, yeah. Once we become Alpha and Luna we'll be trading with my parents."
"Where is your parents room?"
"Top floor of the house."
"Floor?!"
"Yeah, it's kind of a ranking thing. The alpha is the highest so we're on the highest floor, and the biggest bedroom."
"Oh. Well I guess that does make sense, but wherever we move to that painting is coming with us."
He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"When I painted it I had no idea you would like it this much."
"It's exactly what I want us to be like around each other, it is what we're like around each other."
"As long as it's only you." He smiled down at me.
My smile grew even larger and I leaned up to kiss him.
"Always."
