(Kat POV)
I couldn't go back to sleep so I simply laid in bed and watched Pretty Little Liars on Netflix.
Around noon Lexi knocked on my door and told me I was invited to join the others to take a run to the creek to let our wolves out for a while. My wolf was very excited at the idea so I decided to treat her. I joined the others and we went into the forest to shift.
I hid my clothes behind a tree and quickly shifted into my wolf. A flash of pink caught my eye and I looked over to see a bright pink wolf. Jamie. The pink paint must have stained her blonde hair. I followed her to a small clearing wear we met the others. Jamie wasn't the only one who had a pink stain.
Gavin sat tall and proud, even with his pink stained spots in his fur.
Peter howled with laughter but was quickly cut off by me thumping him in the head with my paw. Jamie's glared seized and she gratefully nodded her head in thanks. I even saw a tint of a smirk pass amongst Gavin's mouth.
Gavin nodded his head and the group followed him to a small creek. Everyone jumped in and began sloshing around. A huge splash came at me from my left and I looked to see Matt.
"You looked warm sis. I was only trying to help." He said through the mind link.
He had a grin on his face and I returned it. I then quickly splashed him back in the face.
"I was only trying to help."
Soon, a splash war broke out and everyone began having fun in the cold water. I noticed a wolf with familiar pink spots sitting out on the side of the creek.
I trotted over to him and splashed a hug wave of water in his face. He looked at me alarmed and then quickly settled when he realize it was only me.
I nodded towards the water and he shook his head. I climbed out of the creek and shook the water out of my fur. He ducked away from the flying water and sat back up when I was finished. I nudged him towards the water and he shook his head again. I cocked my head to the side and he dipped his tail in the water and cringed. Really? Did he not like water?
I howled with laughter and could feel his glare on me. I dipped a paw in the water and splashed him again and he began advancing towards me.
I jumped back into the creek and he stopped. I kept slashing him and he finally leapt into the water and began chasing me.
We spent the whole day that way. All of us splashing around in the water, laying out to dry. It actually gave me hope that this friends thing will work out.
