quinn throws me her bouquet as she locks hands with derrick. the pastor continues with his long lines. my eyes are on calum who sits behind my parents. my mother is in tears and my father has water in his eyes. i was glad quinn had found someone to love her.

the 'it' couple pressed their foreheads together as the special last words were spoken. "you may now kiss the bride." the small crowd cheered and the two locked their lips. they run down the isle as the applause continues. the church doors open and everyone spills out to wave to the newlyweds.

calum's hand is locked with mind as we enter a to greet the family and friends who came to see the event. in my other hand are quinn's arrangement of flowers.

the group claps again as my uncle calls out for the new couple. my sister and brother-in-law sway across the floor, their eyes locked.

"before you know it that will be you two." my dad whispers into calum and i's ears. i laugh, shaking my hair. i felt so young, getting married was the last thing i was thinking about. i needed more time to live. though I was older than quinn.

"let's get a drink." i suggest to the tanned boy next to me, he agrees.

"two beers please, whatever is fine." i ask the guy behind the bar, who pops to caps and hands us the chilled liquids. i take a big gulp, i wanted to feel more comfortable at the wedding, but one simple beer wasn't going to be it for this many relatives.

"can you two please get closer for a picture?" the photographer calls out from across the room, already focusing the lens. calum slips his arm around me and grins, i stare up to him as he looks to the camera.

"let's dance." calum removes my drink from my hand and tugs me to the dance floor after the picture. our hips sway, calum's hands rubbing soft circles on my spine, this is what made more feel more comfortable at last.
