calum played his favorite music on the way over to his place. he hummed along to the tunes in harmony. i nervously tapped my foot on the floor board.

"don't worry esme! it's only a few people. you work at a coffee shop, you have to talk to way more people each day."the raven haired boy turns and smiles at me. he pulls my hand out of my lap and holds it gently, rubbing circles with his thumb. i smile weakly back, thankful that he's there to comfort me.

"here we are, see i told you it wasn't far away." calum pulls into a parking spot, hoping out and jogging over to open my door for me.

"you know, i am capable of opening a door."i tell him as he assists me out of the vehicle.

"sure." he drags out the short word in a joking way, knowing i'm clumsy.

we enter the building, which is much nicer than mine. the lady at the front desk wears a button shirt and navy blue pencil skirt. she fingers through a magazine before realizing we arrived.

"greetings calum, how are you?" she smiles, her bright red lip stick making her white teeth shine even more.

"good, how are you, margot?" i stand awkwardly behind the taller boy.

"bored, everyone is up there already."

"cool, see you around." we walk past her, where she continues to flip through the magazine. calum didn't introduce me, but i was okay with that. there was clearly some sort of relationship they had in the past.

"one moment." calum's says, slipping his had into his pocket to dig for the key. at that moment the door opens, luke holds at red cup in his hand and waves at me.

"hi esme!"

"hey, luke."

"margot called, said you were on your way." he smiled, explaining why he opened the door at such perfect timing.

"well, welcome to mi casa." calum welcomes me, pulling me in past luke. the first and only thing i see. there were fourteen at least, but in my eyes it multiplied.

"it's nice." i gulp, keeping my head down to avoid eye contact with anyone.

"here, let me introduce you to my two best friends." luke glares at him "other than luke of course." he corrects himself.

we stood in front of two boys, both just as tall as calum and luke. one with shaggy hair, who was built well, and another with faded blue hair. the blue boy had a girl as his side. she had short, straight black hair, and she could only smile at the boy she wrapped her arms around.

"this is ashton and michael. and michael's girlfriend, maddie." calum points out each one.

"nice to meet you..." ashton starts.

"esme."

"oh, what a beautiful name, esme." he smiles and reaches out his hand to shake mine. his hands were huge, and made my tiny ones look even more miniature.

"thank you."

"okay, let's get you a drink." calum pulls me from. the group and towards the kitchen. "what do you want?"

"i don't know, what do you have?"

"anything under the sun!"

"it's not very sunny here..." I say, making a small joke.

"fine, I'll make you something for a surprise."

"i swear if you drug me-"

"don't worry, i am not one of those guys." he begins to mix up liquids, then handing me the drink he poured.

"what's in it?" i ask, glaring at the caramel colored drink.

"basically coke and some alcohol." he shrugs and grasp his own cup. i sip it, the alcohol burning my throat.

"this is good."

"anything i make is good. now, let's get this party started." he pulls me over to a speaker set, holding up at old ipod to my face. the music selection was miles long. "you choose." i quickly tap one at random, which results in calum breaking out some of his "great" dance moves.

"your turn esme." he takes the red cup from my hand which i had taken many sips from while laugh at calum's dancing skills.

"i don't dance." i state blankly. he had a wild look in his eyes, he turned down the music.

"not a chance." he sings the musical line from high school musical two. i stand there, trying so hard not to burst out laughing. "fine then." he pouts, setting out drinks down. then, cupping the back of my head and jaw. he crashes out lips together. i can't help but move mine with his.

"wow." the dark brunette mutters, making a blush creep onto my cheeks.

for the rest of the night calum forced me to dance along to the music. it was mainly a bunch of jazz hands to please him. we also talked to his friends, who were quite interesting. after everyone left, except luke who ventured off to his own room to sleep, calum decided i should stay at his place, because he didn't want me walking back alone and he didn't was to drink after just consuming alcohol.

he handed me a pair of his sweat pants, so i didn't have to sleep in skinny jeans. they were large on my tiny waist. he patted on his bed for me to crawl in which i did. the aussie quickly fell to sleep, although i had trouble. it was strange sleeping with another in the bed, even if i felt completely safe with calum. at that instant the boy wrapped his arm around my waist and hugged me closer to his warm body in comfort. then, i felt myself dozing off.

{guys I love this, and I hate capital letters. Calum gives me feels}
