Jacob's POV
She didn't respond after. This isn't going to work. I need to talk to her in person. I need her to understand how truly messed up I'm getting over this and how sorry I am.
I start to book a flight to New York for tomorrow at 6pm. I have to see her face and she has to know how I feel. I have to know how she feels.
I tell Mark and Carson what I'm planning to do.
"You do that. And say hi to Kasey for me while your at it," Mark tells me.
"Will do," I assure him.
I start packing, even though I'm still leaving tomorrow. Whatever. I just really hope that she can forgive me. Now, I just have to deal with Miranda.
All of a sudden I get a text from the devil herself.
Miranda: Hey Jacob, could I talk to you?
Me: I guess.
Miranda: Listen, so I'm really sorry that I threatened you and of course, Jenna. I was a huge jerk, and since I did that, I think we should break up. This relationship is too toxic and too much for the both of us.
Wait, did I read that correctly? I reread it. Yup, it says that.
Me: Okay, I guess.
She never responded. I think that's good. That gets one problem out of the way. Now I just need Jenna to forgive me, and then everything will be alright.
