Jacob's POV

Oh. My. God. It's Jenna. I don't know if this is good or bad. I don't know anymore. I just don't know. How's Mae going to react? How's Jenna going by to reach? Heck, how am I going to react?

"Hey Jenna," I say. She looks at me with wide eyes for a few moments and I find myself doing the same.

"Stop staring at my baby and say something, you dwarf!" Mae shouts at rudely at Jenna. I look down at her to silently tell her to stop talking but she doesn't bother to look up at me.

"I'm sorry, you're right. Hi Jacob, hi Mae," she says with a friendly smile. Mae scoffs.

"Where is my freaking room you lazy-"

"Alright! No name is calling is necessary!" I interrupt Mae.

"Excuse me, but you're not the one who has been carrying a baby in your stomach for 8 months, correct?" Mae says in a snotty tone. I don't respond in fear that I may snap at her. She may be really rude, but I don't know what feelings she's going through.

"You know what? I'll make you guys some supper, you must be starving," Jenna says.

"Yeah, get on with that you-"

"Thank you, I appreciate that. Where is our room?" I ask her as politely as I can.

"Second door down on the right. Make yourself at home," she says with a warming smile. Jenna goes into the kitchen and I take in a breath, trying to contain my emotions with how Mae is acting.

"Mae, you need to chill out. Jenna is being nothing but nice. Return the favour," I tell her as nicely as I can.

"She still loves you. I can see it. She's going to take you. She needs to back the hell away. I have no choice but to be mean," she tells me, leaving her bag next to me and walks up the stairs. I sigh and carry her bag along with mine.

Jenna's POV

To be honest, Mae isn't my favourite person to be around at all. I have no idea how Jacob puts up with that. Like at all. I would have flipped out on her by now. I understand she's pregnant and all, but there's no way that being pregnant can make you have the right to be that moody and rude around elope.

"Hey, do you guys wanna go to the beach? Just an extra day before the wedding to let loose," I suggest.

"Yeah, that sounds fun!" Claire says. Carson nods in agreement.

"Sure," Jacob says.

"Not if this-"

"Mae, if you have a problem, you can stay back," Jacob says sternly to her.

"Fine, I'll come if you really want," she says. I mentally roll my eyes.

"Get on your bathing suits and let's go!" I shout. I put on a one piece black bathing suit, with a white high-low hemline white dress over top of it.

"Let's go!" I say when everyone is gathered on the main floor.

We soon get to the beach, and pick up Kevin along the way. It's a nice place. There's a gazebo, and a nice, clear water. When we get there, I lay out my beach towel and lay on it.

"You're not just gonna lay there the whole time, are you?" Kevin asks.

"Pretty much. I don't do water," I tell him.

"Oh, well in that case-" he cuts himself off and I suddenly feel his arms around my waist and my upper back.

"KEVIN GEORGE HANSEN! Put me down this instant!" I shout at him.

"If you insist" he grins, and chucks me into the water. When I come over the surface, I cough up water and glare at Kevin while laughs.

"Breh!" I exclaim when I get to shore.

"I'm gonna get you," I grumble playfully. He starts to run away, but I'm since I'm faster than him, I tug on his shoulders and jump onto his back. He suddenly puts me over his shoulder and I manage to get down. I then see Claire walk behind me with a bucket of water in her hand. I put a hand around Kevin's waist and reach for the bucket.

"Thanks, Claire," I say.

"What?" He asks, looking behind him. He looks back at me and I splash the bucket of water in his face.

"I'm gonna get you," he says. I start to run away from him and make it to the gazebo. Right before he gets me, I jump off into the water and start to swim. I feel my thoughts drifting away within the waves. I start to get lost in my thoughts and feel as if I'm free as I swim away from everything.

I go up and take breaths every once in a while, but other than that, I'm just swimming. I kind of forgot about Kevin chasing me, it's kind of nice to be alone. I don't usually get that.

I stop and kick my legs up so I can hover above the water. I'm in the middle of nowhere. The gazebo is gone. I can't see it. I dive under water and open my eyes to see if I can see it under water. Nope, all I see is- wait. That can't be- there's no sharks is Arizona. At least I don't think so.

My eyes widen and I take in a breath underwater water. I quickly swim up and start coughing the water out of my nose. I go back under and see if there are actually sharks. Yes, yes there are.

"Son of a butternut squash," I mumble to myself (comment if you know where that's from).

I don't even know what I'm suppose to do. Start swimming to shore? Stay here?

I suddenly hear a motor coming towards me. I duck under water to get a closer look. It's a sea-doo. I swim closer until it stops. It almost turns around until I get up and yell, "Help me!"

The person on it snaps their head over and looks at me relieved. I then see that the person is Jacob and I feel my face go pale. Not just from Jacob, but from the sharks and how everyone will react when I come back.

"Jenna! There you are! We were all worried sick!" He exclaims, getting a life jacket out.

"Jacob, there's sharks in the water," I say. His eyes widen.

"Climb on!" He says, giving me his hand. I grab it and climb on. I quickly put on the life jacket and climb on behind him. He starts it up and goes insanely fast. I grip onto his waist tightly and he drives away fast. I wonder why Kevin didn't come get me?

We finally arrive to shore and my face is still pale. That truly was one of the most scary encounters I've ever experienced.

"Jenna! Are you okay?" Kevin says giving me a kiss on my head. I stay silent and say nothing. A million things are going through my head right now. What would have happened if Jacob didn't come rescue me? What would happen if I swam to shore? What would happen if I stayed? What would have happened if I didn't get above the water sooner?

"Guys, I think she needs to go home. I'll take her," Jacob says.

"No, it's fine. I can," Kevin says.

"You've barely gotten any time at the beach, I'll take her," Jacob insists.

"No, it's fine, I-" I cut them both off.

"Just shut up and stop fighting!" I yell. They both go quiet.

"I'll take her," Claire suggests.

"I think that's a good idea," Carson agrees.

"Come on, let's go."
