CHAPTER 19.2: Convinving The Counvil

[Mayu's P.O.V.]

On cue, Yohan came out, wearing a fresh set of clothes. He must have heard part of our conversation, because he joined us and nodded."During our mission, we met Lite." He began.

Trojan raised an eyebrow."He..."

I trailed off. "Hang on." I hesitantly raised my hand and concentrated. I imagined Lite, and took a deep breath. The air in front of me swirled and shimmered. An perfect replica of Lite appeared.

Paris yawned. "You know Illusion magic?" He asked.

I opened her mouth to answer, but decided against it as i felt my concentration fading. So si Yohan na lang ang nagpaliwanag. He explained how Darque could teach her candidates a number of magic, and how Illusion magic was one of the basics.

I released the illusion and like something had snapped, told Trojan and Paris everything that had happened on the missions. The townspeople and the monster, then Lite plan to draw out Darque and his seeming addiction for her.

By the time i had finished, i was out of breath and i barley noticed that Yohan was filling in the tiny details i had missed, like how he had manipulated the kinetic energy of the marble to kill the boy.

Trojan looked uncharacteristically excited. "So we're up against this guy who can control kinetic energy." He said. "And since I can't read your minds, I'm guessing this Lite dude can also stop me from reading his candidates mind."

Paris glaced at his hand, them tumingin saamin. "I can reflect everything as long as it was not a living being."

"Anyways, kailangan na lang nating hintayin sina Cayenne at Jared kung papayad ba yung isa na sumasa saatin while ako ng bahala kina Natsuki. We'll just have to wait unti Darque come back with neither bad or good news about letting you all off the hook. At bukas naman, kilangan kong magreport kay Papa and YOU!"-sabi ko na ikinagulat nila at tinuro ko si Yohan. I smiled as i see his shocked expression. "You'll come with me tomorrow."

"Where's Caleb? I didn't see him today?"-i said glacing at Hiro who shrugged.

"Sumama sya kay Cayenne."-sabi ni Paris who was yawning.

"Balik na sya sa english manners nya. Nakakadugo talaga ang mga english nya. Ang lalalim. May pinaghuhugutan ata sya."-bulong ni Trojan at akala ba nya hindi ko narinig yun kaya tinaasan ko lang sya ng kilay while nagsmirk lang sya

I glaced at the clocked, it was already 7:30. Tumayo na ako, "I have a dinner with my Papa and my friends today kaya maiwan ko muna kayo dyan. Babalik din ako kaagad at dadalhan kayo ng pagkain."-i said ang leave the room before either of them can say something.

"Thanks for the food."-i said at pinunasan na ang bibig ko ng table napkin at tumayo na.

"You already finished. That was something new."-natatawang sabi ni Papa kaya ngumiti na lang ako sakanya.

Before i go, i sent a eye messege to Natsuki, Alice and Ressa to go to my room at excatly 9:30. They nodded and smiled.

Pumunta muna ako sa main kitchen at kumuha nfmg makakain nila. Wala namang nagreklamo kasi ako na mismo ang kumuha ng mga pagkain. Pagkatapos ay bumalik na kaagad ako sa room ko.

"Here, have your dinner. Sorry kung natagalan."-sabi ko sabay lapag ng tray sa dining table ko.

"Thanks."-sabi nila at magsimula na silang kumain. Pumunta muna ako aa bedroom ko at nahiga. I smiled. I remembered the time where i had wondered if becoming friends with them was a right thing. I had been afraid of the feeling that told me that they were the people she belonged with. I decided that it didn't matter. Just because i was going to leave my Clan it did not mean that i couldn't be friends with them.

"Smiling suits you more than frowning."-Yohan said and smiled, tapos na pala silang kumain. Yeah, minsan lang ako ngumiti dahil madalas daw na nakakunot ang noo ko at nakabusangot ang mukha.

I smiled at him and sat at the edge of my bed. "Before, i was so confused why others have a hard time talking and getting along with me. I really was, because others, to the point that they avoided me, i once thought that they hated me. Then One time, Mama said to me that it was because i didn't try to smile and my forehead was always creased that it give me the look to become, masungit."i said at natawa ng konti while remembering the old me. "I tried to smile pero mahirap pala. Mahirap kung wala kang pinanghuhugutan. I'm not the type of a person na ngingiti lang sa iba ng walang dahilan. Kasi ako, ngingiti ako kung talagang masaya ako."

"And since you often smile now, does that mean that you are happy?"-natigilan ako sa tanong nya. Masaya nga ba ako? True, i often smile now because of them. Because of him. Lagi syang nagaasar at nambu-bwiset saakin na hindi ko na namamalayan na napapasaya na nya pala ako.

I smiled at looked at him in the eye. "Yes, i just realized that i was happy being with you, all of you. That every now and then, i was smiling just a thought na makakasama ko kayo. And thank you for bringing that happiness out of me. I really am."-i sincerly said and my smile widened ng makita ko na nagulat sya.

This night, i realize something so special.

He opened his mouth to speak ng matigilan kami ng may kumatok sa pinto. I look at the clock, 9:30. Ganoon na pala katagal kaming maguusap. Hindi ko namalayan. Tumayo na ako and smiled at him again before tapping his shoulder and leaving the room. Kailangan ko ng makausap sina Natsuki, Alice and Ressa kung papayag ba sila.
