[22]: The Answer

CHAPTER 22: The Answer

[Mayu's P.O.V.]

"I expect you to go back safe and good, Child. At kung hindi mangyayari iyon, mananagot sya saakin."-sabi ni papa at tumingin kay Yohan who was looking at us.

Niyakap ko sya, "Masyado ka namang OA papa. Babalik nga po ako. Don't worry, ako lang naman ang anak nyo e."-sabi ko at nakasmirk.

"Huwag mo akong subukan Ms. Kurokawa, it's a promise and i know your rule in regards of promises."

"Yeah papa. I know, i never breaks my promise. Babalik ako ng matiwasay at malakas para sa Clan natin."-i firmly said. He kissed me on the forehead at nagpaalam na kami. Marami pa syang gagawin at ayokong makadagdag pa.

I woke up the next morning by a faint sound of something. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and glacing at my surroundings. I caught shiny something kaya nagpunta ako study table ko at kinuha ang communication crystal ni Yohan.

"Good Morning."

I nodded. "Morning."-i whispered, trying my best para hindi magising si Yohan.

I rubbed my eyes one more time and yawned a little, just a moment after, Cayenne appeared in the Crystal. He offered me with a small smile. "Hello, Mayu-san."

"Good morning Cayenne."-i greeted with a smile too. Pinatong ko ang braso ko sa table at tumingin na sa crystal, resting my head on my hands. "So it is okay for me to assume that you are ready to give your answers, even that Jared's answer too?"

Cayenned nodded. "Napagusapan na namin itong tatlo nina Jared at pumayag na syang sumama at ganun din naman kami."-he said.

My smiled widened. "That's great. Then okay na lahat?"-i asked and he nodded again.

'Papuntahin mo sila dito. Kailangan nating mapag-usapan ang tungkol sa gagawin nating Clan.'

I nodded. "Uhm Cayenne, can you please come over at our Realm to discuss some Clan problems?" I asked.

"If this was about leaving the Demon Realm, okay na kasi nagawan na namin ng paraan." Sabi nya kaya napatango tango ulit ako.

"Oh, well, that makes things more easier for us then. But still, come over to our place." I said and signed. "I think you've heard about the Council's sudden descion of letting Trojan and Paris off the hook. And also about Yohan and Caleb's traitor issues."

Cayenne nodded, looking quiet amused.

"I've also said that i'm leaving." I said. Ayoko kasing sabihin na nag-quit ako diba? Mali naman kasi babalik din naman kami. "And as of now, we are all Clan-less. If you remember Darque suggest before, we can create our temporary Clan. And since that the criminal issue is off the way, we can continue along with that plan."

"Then we'll meet you at the West Wood like before, Mayu-san." Sabi pa nya. "Dadalhin na namin lahat ng kailangan namin. And we will eat breakfast on our way."

I nodded again. "Okay, we'll be waiting." He nodded again and cut the call.

Tumayo na ako at nag-inat. Pumunta ako sa closet ko at dumampot ng kahit na anong damit na pwedeng isuot. I entered the bathroom at mabilis na naligo at nagpalit. I headed to Yohan's make shift bed at niyugyog sya para magising.

Yohan groaned and rolled over, pulling the blankets on his head. I signed and think of a way para magising ang ungas na to. Should i do the classic dump-cold-water-on-your-head trick. Woah! No way, ako din naman ang maglilinis e. Instead, i shake him harder.

After a few minutes of wresling on Yohan's bedsheet, nabawi ko na rin sa wakas. He gasped at the sudden loss of contract and sat up.

I signed and then dropped the blanket onto his head.

Inalis naman kaagad nya iyon at tumingin saakin. "Morning." He slurred, still half asleep.

"Morning." I greeted back. "Cayenne just called."

Napansin ko naman na nag-stiffed sya. "At, anong sabi nya?"

I grinned. "He and the two others will come. Naayos na rin nila ang tungkol sa issue nyo ni Caleb."

Yohan signed in relief and stood up, strenching. He excused himself at pumunta na sa banyo while ako naman ay pumunta sa living room para sabihin kina Trojan and Paris ang news.

Haha. Sina Trojan at Paris pala, naalala ko sila kahapon, yung itsura nila nung binalita namin na laya na sila.

[Flashback]

Ng makaalis kami sa office ni Dad ay dumeretso na kaagad kami sa kwarto ko. Umuwi muna sakanila sina Natsuki para daw sabihin na may long mission silang gagawin. Si Ressa naman? Haiz. Ewan ko dun. Wala pa rin e. Papasok na sana sila ng bigla na lang bumukas ang pinto, revealing Paris.

"Narinig kayo si Trojan mula sa labas." Sabi nya, saying an unasked question.

Pumasok na sila at naabutan nila si Trojan na nakaupo sa couch habang nagbabasa ng libro. He smirked at us ng makita nya kami.

Yohan excused himself at maliligo daw muna sya. Ako naman, pumunta sa kwarto ko at kinuha ang isang magazine na binigay ni Dad kanina at pinakita iyon kay Trojan.

Trojan skimmed throught it and froze. He urgently beckoned Paris who had just sat himself on the floor. He signed at tumayo na at lumapit kay Trojan.

Paris glared at his friend and yanked the magazine in his grasp. Binasa nya ang front page and his eyes widened in millimiters, looking quite surprise.

He looked at me. "Really?" He asked. I smile and nodded. "Wow." He murmured. He turned to Trojan and through we can see his face, i knew he was smiling.

I lean on my chair and glace at the calendar on my desk. "Three week and two days before the full moon." I said to myself.

Yohan entered my bedroom, he offered me a small greeting before setting himself on the floor. I began to wander if i should offer my bed to him? After all, Yohan's been sleeping in there the whole time. Hindi pa ba sumasakit ang likod nya?

"Good night."

I jump slightly as Darque's voice echoed in my mind. Hindi ko pa sya naririnig magsalita simula nung umalis kami sa office ni Dad. "Good night." I said with a yawn and at the same time, Yohan mutterd, "Night."

Darque's giggles echoed throughout my mind. At nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag kasi bumalik na sya sa dati. Dati nung hindi pa namin nababangga si Lite.

I frowned at that thought, but after hearing Darque's continues giggles, i manage to push all the worries away.

Yohan and i looked at each other and smiled. We seems to be doing that these past few days.
