+Dream+
I look out a window at a landscape below. It seemed so strange, and yet, I seemed to be longing to stand there.
"Captain!" someone shouts from nearby, "The controls stopped working!" a chorus of voices filled with despair fill the air, all blending together.
"What?" a woman's voice echoes above the rest, "How did this happen?"
"I- we don't know."
"We need to send an alert to the-" before the woman could finish, there is a loud crash. I am launched from my seat, and a sharp pain goes through my head before everything goes black.
+Reality+
I sit up with a jolt, panting slightly. What was that?
My mind goes through all the possible answers to what it might mean. All of which, leave me with more, and more questions. So, I gave up entirely. Sighing, I get out of the bed and pull off my sweat covered shirt. Might as well forget about the dream until I can speak with Rob. He could help me place some meaning for it...
I shift through my drawers before pulling out a new shirt and pulling it over my head. My eyes scan the room in boredom before they land on the piece of paper on the nightstand. Confused, I walk over and pick it up.
Frags,
I apologize for knocking you out. It was the only way I was going to give you this message. But please, do not mention me hurting you to the Empress! She'll have me beheaded...
Anyways, here is my message. The Empress' ship has landed, and the invasion will begin in two weeks.
Yes, I know the invasion is a year earlier than planned, but the Empress insisted. You know how she is.
Good luck.
I look at the message in confusion. Invasion, Empress, Frags? I was called Frags in that one dream. Is-is that my actual name?
I toss the paper aside and sit down on the bed. My mind racing once again. Why are they invading? Is it because they're lacking resources? Or....
Is it because of me?

I'm lead through a doorway and down a narrow hall. My mind goes through the possible reasons why I was invited here. Majority of which involve me doing something that I shouldn't have.
After going through a few doorways, the man stops and turns to look down at me. "It's just ahead," He says nodding toward a large door at the end of the hall, "This is as far as I am aloud to go. Good luck, Benja." Confusion racks my mind as he walks away, leaving me staring at the door. Why can't he go any further?
Shaking my head, I walk to the door and push it open. Clearing my throat as I do so. Is it too late now to run? Yes. Yes it is.
I rub my arm slightly as I walk deeper into the room. The atmosphere was cold, damp. Almost as if this entire room was left out in one of our planet's rainstorms. I look ahead of me to see a regal looking woman with two highly ranked soldiers at her side. Is that the Empress?
"Hello there. Benja isn't it?" she says, flashing me a smile.
"Y-yes. That is me." I say, bowing awkwardly. I love how I'm on the Empress' ship, and yet I am surprised that I am seeing her face to face. You're in idiot Benja.
"You're quite observant," she says was I stand up straight, "Though, I would expect that from our head transferee." There is a rather large smile on her face. Why do I have the feeling she's being "too" nice?
"T-thank you," I smile slightly before looking around the room absently.
"Now for the reason you're here," I turn my attention back to her, my heart rate quickening slightly, "As you should very well know, Frags went missing about 2.7 years ago."
"Indeed. His ship malfunctioned and crashed into this very planet," she nods to me in confirmation.
"You did your research. Now, as I was saying. Corporal Bazinga has sent in word that Frags is alive," My eyes widen in surprise. Nobody survives a crash like that!
"That's incredible!"
"Indeed isn't it? Now I require you to bring him to me."
"Why me?" my eyes widen even more.
"Frags has amnesia. He needs someone less, threatening to bring him back. If we send out any of the soldiers he might think we're going to harm him," she explains, looking me in the eyes, "Can you bring him back to me?"
"Of curse. But, can you answer this one question?"
"Go ahead," she says with a nod.
"Why is Frags so important in this invasion?"
"That," she takes a deep breath, "that is classified information. I might tell you if you bring him to me. Key word, 'might.'"
"Oh. Alright," I nod and turn to leave.
"And also, before you leave," I look over my shoulder at her, "There is an obnoxious human who won't leave him be. We've already comprehended the other human, but this second one is stubborn. Make sure it is taken care of."
"Will do," I nod and walk away. What trouble will a puny human be? I'm sure even I can knock them out with the flick of a wrist.
"Good luck Benja."
