February 2nd

Sighing loudly Summer clawed through her bag, her loud ringtone drawing in everyone’s attention. “Oh come on!” She moaned. Finally pulling her blackberry from the bottom of her Louis Vuitton. “Hello?” She questioned, wondering why she hadn’t checked the caller ID before answering the call.

“Hello Summer it’s Janet, Simon wants you at the office asap” A familiar voice came from the other end of the line.

“Alright I’m a few blocks away so I won’t be long, did he say what for?” Summer asked already knowing the answer.

“Of course not, you know what he’s like” Janet chuckled.

“Silly me, I’ll see you soon!” She replied hanging up after Janet muttered a quick bye.

After stuffing her phone into her bag and placing her sunglasses over her eyes, she headed out the off-license and back up the street to work.

The automatic doors pulled open, Summer went straight past reception flashing a half-smile to Gary on the desk and headed up to the top floor.

“Morning Janet!” She sung as she entered the small office.

“Someone’s happy this morning” Janet laughed.

“If I’m not then who would be?” Summer laughed along with her.

“Alright love, you can go through now” Janet replied, pressing a button on the phone at her desk. “Summer Tyler is here, I’m sending her in.”

Summer opened the big brown door before listening to Simon’s reply. She expected to find the middle aged man with his head stuck in some papers at his over sized desk but instead she was met by 6 pairs of eyes.

“This was unexpected” She said nervously biting her lip.

“It’s nice to see you too!” Harry replied sarcastically, smiling away.

“I’m joking! Come here guys!” she giggled, taking a step forward and holding her arms out for a hug.

Grinning at each of the 5 boys, Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn and Louis, jumped up and ran at her for a hug. When you’re signed to the same label as ‘Britain’s hottest boy band’ it had it’s pros and cons.

“That enough guys, I need to get this meeting over and done with quickly” Simon said sternly. Their laughs became silent and the group settled on the four couches. “I have called you all in about your next albums, I was thinking you could work out something about doing a couple of songs together, what do you think?.” A deep chorus of ‘Yeah’s’ and a ‘I’m game’ filled the room. It was all eyes on Summer.

“Yeah that’s sounds great!” She replied a little too enthusiastically.

“It’s settled then, I’ll arrange something and let you know about your schedule” Simon smiled, revealing his bright teeth. “Until then I’ll book you into a local hotel, arrange a driver to take you there.” With that he excused himself and left.

The boys all looked to Summer, Harry was grinning away and Summer could tell he was probably thinking up something mischievous.

“Whatever you’re thinking, don’t do it Styles I know what you’re like” She frowned at the curly haired boy.

“She’s good” Louis grinned at Harry.

“You should know that by now boys” She winked and rose from the sofa.

“Where are you getting off to?” Liam asked, following her with his eyes as she made her way to the door.

“I need to pack, you don’t expect me to wear nothing for the next few days do you?”

“I wouldn’t mind” Zayn smirked winking at her. Summer rolled her eyes, covering up the fact that her heart just skipped a beat.

“Oh shh you! I’ll see you guys at the hotel!” She called out as she walked out of Simon’s huge office. “I’m going to get some clothes so I’ll make my own way to the hotel as soon as I find out” she informed Janet, smiling softly.

Walking out of the huge building, the heat hit her like a ton of bricks. Not long after she’d waved her hand at a taxi one pulled up and she jumped in, informing the driver of her address. She knew it may be a long drive so she pulled out her phone and logged onto twitter.

@Summer_Tyler:This week should be interesting!xx

she tweeted then looked at some of her fans’ tweets, replying to a few.

Soon enough the driver pulled up. Handing the driver a few notes, insisting that he kept the change she walked up the driveway. As soon as the door flung open she quickly shut it and hurried upstairs. Flinging clothes everywhere, Summer packed enough clothes for a week. Although she was hurrying, for no apparent reason, she picked out her clothes carefully hoping to catch the eye of a certain someone. Once packed, she lugged her medium leopard print case down the spiral stairs (not as easy as it sounds) and placed it by the door. Literally after she’d walked into the black and white themed living room, her phone vibrated in her pocket. Reading the brief text from Simon about the next few days she put her phone back into her Louis Vuitton and decided to get to the hotel before the boys arrived, hoping she could pick a good room.

After what seemed like a short taxi ride she took her suitcase off the taxi driver, thanking him and entered the large, empty lobby taking in her surroundings. Although she had been living in the lap of luxury all her life, her Mum was a world known actress and her Dad owned a chain of hotels around the world, some places still amazed her.

“Hello I’ve got a room booked under the name Cowell” Summer smiled at the lady at the reception desk.

“Summer Tyler?” She asked, looking up from her computer. Summer nodded in reply, pulling out her ID and showing her.

“Ok, here’s your room key, if you need anything don’t hesitate to call for room service. Your room is the top floor suit.” The lady replied, handing her a card key.

“Thank you! There should be 5 more people checking in” She informed the receptionist before wheeling her suitcase to the lift and pressing the button that would take the life to the top floor.
