Panic rushes through me. My father plans on creating an army by using me.

The soldiers drag me down a black corridor and into another room.

In the middle is a clear sphere with a white bed and by the door is a set of controls with wires. They drag me through, Loki opens the door and they throw me in, locking it behind them.

I stand up, slamming my bleeding fists against the glass and glaring at Loki. Deep red blood drips down the clear walls of the prison as i stare at my father with pure hate.

"Let me go, Loki!" I shout through clenched teeth.

"So, you're not calling me father anymore?" He questions, raising an eyebrow.

"No. You're not a father to me." I hiss.

"Harriet, i haven't seen you in 14 years and this is how you treat me?"

"You used my family as hostages and forced me to come here!" I shout, slamming my palm against the glass wall as the memory of yesterday runs in my mind.

"Your family? They stole you away from me Harriet."

"They saved me from you." I correct him and Loki nods, staring at the floor.

He waves behind him and a man dressed in white enters the room and walks to the control desk. He presses buttons and a slide opens on the wall of my prison.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

The man walks over to the slide and places a needle into his hand.

"Harriet, you can let us do this or we knock you out."

"I won't let you. I'll fight!" I scream, backing away from the wall.

I feel a stab in my neck, colours blur around me as my knees buckle and i hit the ground.

The man in white pulls a needle full of my blood out of my arm and carries it out of my prison cell, locking the door behind him. I lean my aching head against the transparent wall and groan quietly.

"Why do you keep shooting me with things?" I whisper, looking over at Loki.

He is sat on a bench next to me, staring inside my prison cell. He brushes his hands over his face in frustration and disappointment.

"Because you are being extremely difficult and won't give me what i want."

"Well, you wont give me what i want." I mutter.

"What do you want?"

"I want to be normal. I want normal parents and a normal life." I admit, looking in the opposite direction of Loki.

"I can't give you that."

"Uncle never told me about you or mother. I used to ask all the time and he told me that i couldn't handle knowing."

"You can't be normal, Harriet. You aren't even human." Loki whispers.

I glance over at him, my mind full of confusion.

"What?"

"We are from a place called Asgard, it's between Earth and Heaven." He explains.

Loki stands up, clutching his staff and walks out of the room.

Im not human.

Im not from Earth.

I lean my back on the transparent wall, my muscles aching.

"Wait, Loki." I mutter, using little effort and my voice comes out as a whisper.

There's a knock on the wall behind me, i turn my head to see the blonde lady from this morning. She smiles sympathetically at me, exposing her pearly white teeth. She then slides the small letterbox window on the wall and slips a book through. It falls, landing by my feet and i pick it up. My fingers brush the brown cover and i turn to talk to the lady, but she's gone.

I open the book and the smell of oldness fills my nose. On the first page is a photo of Fury, his arms crossed and his face tense with anger. On the page opposite is his name, age and his skills. I flip over and its a photo of Natasha posing with her gun, on the opposite page is her full name, her assassin skills and her age. I flick through and its all the same, but each page is of a different Avenger. I stop when i see a photo of Loki, my father.

He's stood proudly in the photo, holding his golden staff beside him and wearing his horn gold hat. His emerald eyes shine with hurt and evil. My father. The deadly criminal. I read the profile next to him.

Skills: Powerful staff that with one shot can kill. Has access to an army.

Family: Adoptive brother of Thor

Adoptive? So, Thor isn't my real Uncle? I am not related to him by blood.

I lean my head against the wall, trying to take in what i just learnt.

Why did the lady give this to me? Did she want me to find out the truth?

I hear footsteps coming in, i glance up to see someone i hoped i wouldn't. He is kitted out in black army boots, black trousers, a black jacket with a bullet proof vest and guns on his belt. I groan and turn away from him.

"Well, nice to see you too, Hattie." Axel says, walking towards me.

"You traitor." I hiss, turning to glare at him.

"No, no, no. I am not a traitor. I never said who i was. You all assumed that i was on your side." He points out.

"Can i ask you something?" I question, looking at him with begging eyes.

"Depends what it is." He teases.

"How did my mother die? Someone told me it was someone i know." I ask.

Axel sighs and sits on the tiled floor close to the wall of my prison cell. He raises his eyes to my level and i see pain sparkle in them.

"After 14 years of you being lost, the depression took over her and she overdosed herself." Axel explains quietly.

"Oh. Did you know her?"

"Yes. I was very close with Iowa. She basically raised me after my parents were killed in battle." He explains.

I glance up, sadness tugging at my heart. Axel crosses his legs underneath him and smiles slightly at me.

"Im so sorry." I whisper.

"Why? That isn't going to bring them back, is it?" Axel questions, standing up and walking out of the room with his hands clutching his bullet proof vest.

I sigh, leaning my aching body against the transparent wall.

"I promise that i won't let Loki create an army. I will do everything i can to fight and stop him." I whisper into the empty cell.
