Chapter 9 - Legacy

Isabelle's POV

Alam mo ba yung feeling na tinatamad ka nang pumasok, pero hindi mo magawa na umabsent kasi you have goals? That's what I literally feel right now.

I was walking through the hallway when my phone suddenly beeped then I checked it.

*Kaidence Cyan Arundell sent you a friend request.*

I opened the app and saw his profile. Damn, he's really good on putting up a convincing charade.

I then accepted his friend request then checked the time, I still got thirty more minutes.

I went to the bulletin board to check some new announcements but it seems like wala pa silang bago na nailagay. Oh well.

The atmosphere here feels strange, ang tahimik, and why did it suddenly gave me the shivers? I was shocked when someone or something touched my shoulder

"Ay baklang kabayo!" bigla kong naisigaw

"Ay chakang bruha!" sigaw niya din pabalik

"S-sino ka?" I don't recognize this person. Who is he? Or she?

"Nagjo-joke ka ba? Ako 'to yung magiging pambato ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe." then he or she kissed his fingers then waved. Unang pumunta kaagad sa isip ko si Kaidence.

"K-Kaidence? Is that you?" tanong ko, I really don't recognize his face. Pero the voice, the voice is really him.

"Grabe ka naman girl, parang kahapon lang tayo nagkita hindi mo na ako kaagad nakikilala?" eh paano ko naman siya makikilala sa kapal ng make-up niya? I raised an eyebrow

"Eh ba't ka kasi nagmake-up kala ko tuloy a ghost was haunting me!" sabi ko sabay hampas sa braso niya, nahahawa na din ako kay Dawn.

"I'm just trying this out, wala pa kasing tao dito kaya rumampa muna ako dahil ang lawak ng space dito. Char lang." sabi niya sabay tawa. Having a gay friend is really fun.

"Samahan mo 'ko, I'll rinse my face doon sa washing area." sabi niya then sumunod na din ako.

Pagkatapos niyang magrinse ng make-up inalok niya ako na ihahatid niya daw ako sa classroom ko, so hinayaan ko na lang siya.

"Ikaw naman kasi, tinawag pa akong kabayo. Ang sakit non ha?" sabi niya at saka sumimangot.

"Excuse me, nagulat ako no." sagot ko then sabay kaming tumawa.

Maya-maya ay umabot na din kami sa room then guess what nakasalubong namin SIYA sa entrance.

"Well, look who's here." I said in a joking manner then rolled my eyes at him.

"Ang pinakapoging seatmate ni Isabelle Francoise Monteclaro, at your service." sabi niya then showed his playful grin. Agang-aga, nagbiro na agad. So funny

"Ang galing mong magbiro no?" sabi ko then fake a laugh

"Di masyado, konti lang. And thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it a lot." sagot niya. Uhh, ang hilig niya talagang sumabat!

"OMG! Is this fafa Zachary?!" sabi ni Kaidence then inirapan ko siya then napatakip siya bigla ng bibig niya

"It's fine Kai, buking na tayo kahapon pa." sabi ko

"Hi, I'm Zac." then iniabot niya yung kamay niya. Pwe, nagpapakapresko na naman.

"OMG, ang friendly mo pala?" kilig na kilig si Kaidence as he was shaking Zac's hand. He's really gay, I have no doubts about it
